Many on this forum including myself, seem to be yearning for the chemistry between Ram and Gurdeep. as had been the case with Ram and Prachi....

I however think the chemistry comes when there is tension and misunderstandings and the two are in a compromising situation... When Jai was hostile and rude to Pronita we saw the chemistry... just as when he was rude to Bani/Prachi....There is very little chemistry when things go good!

But I always feel that issues that can be given some time to be resolved in KS always end in an anticlimax... Suddenly everything is good with Jai and bani...they are in love, got married for the umpteen time... under allllll the faiths....have eyelocking sessions, NEVER talk and explain the hurt, disappointment, anguish.. everything that happened in the seventeen years.... questioned what happened to Arthrava....the roles of Meera and Jigs, even Baba....Jai knows nothing yet he knows everything....all milk and honey ... no questions asked until they break up again tomorrow or sometime soon!

If on the other hand Bani had perhaps left and Jai had to go out there and find her ... and resolve the problems before they were reunited, we may have seen the chemistry and excitement.. rather than this eye-locking crap.

It is unfair to say there is no chemistry between Ram and Gurdeep if the creatives do not provide the opportunities for there to be the tension etc.

Tension can be recreated if Jai remembers how he was totally wrong to Bani, how he kicked her out so many times, how he accused her of being unfaithful, made her grovel at his feet, took her children from her... refused to acknowledge her as the mother on their tombstone....

Instead he remembers their "love"!

Ram is excellent at emoting and that creates chemistry for us...

I would prefer seeing him accept the blame for some of his actions, being uncomfortable with her...hesitant to touch her... then we will get to see the tension. and the resulting chemistry!

i thought there have been enough tension, misunderstandings between Jai and Bani and and they poor souls must get some rest😉 . As thier souls are also really bored taking the old tensions, misundstandings for numerous times😉 . As far chemisty is concerned . i think The chemistry between Ram and prachi has been before they got mariiage . I still remember thier first scene. only their simple non-.romantic you can see te chemistry😳 .

Its has been almost 8 months GK has entered Ks and still she needs "chemistry creating scenes"😉 . i dont

think you need special scenes to create any chemistry .

In their latest reunion which i hope will last more than 2 weeks😉 .she had oppurtunity to show chemisrty . She got him after 16 years and but it was looking like as she spends every momemnt with him lol.

the funny dance etc.🤣🤣

i quote RK when i say this he himself said not to expect any chemistry there so i was not ecpecting that and as far as i can see tehres not even 0.001% there but then they say chemistry is in the eye of the beholder so i can tell many people think there will be chemistry there. as for the scenes can i jsut point out that most of the scenes between pro and jai were past scenes between RK and PD and the reason they were there was to recreate the chemistry which in MY pov seriousli doesnt exist. an you cant create chemistry it has to exist and it can never exist where teh two people are not comforatble with each other.

I like both PD n GK. Ram n Prachi were my primary reasons initially for watching KS. There is no doubt RK n PD have amazing chemistry. Similarly GK n RK have cute/beautiful chemistry, at least for me. I love their scenes together. PD-RK's chemistry sizzled maximum during their love/hate relationship. .(during the initial periods of ks n after the 2^nd leap when he was in a revenge mode)…Their was zero chemistry btw them during Durga phase(her Jalak period) .As you have mentioned before it's up to the creatives to make use of their chemistry.

JB never had a proper communication. I agree an emotional reunion would've been better but if we try to find logic in EK's serials it's difficult. ….I'm still watching it for RK n JB…I prefer JB romance rather than watching too much negativity….I liked their romantic scenes, too. …..I know pd fans won't agree with me. I'm not interested to start a fight here. Some are curious in finding fault in GK. She is working hard n is talented . She is doing her role very well . She may have her own weakness but who doesn't have? No one is perfect including PD. When we do not like a person, it is quite natural for us to find fault with everything that the person does (or does not do). Similarly, when we like someone, it is quite natural to ignore all their faults and eventually think of them as some sort of supermen or superwomen. This is normal human nature. So it is not surprising that many of our Prachi fans will scorn every act of Gurdeep irrespective of good or bad it really was. Going by the market position of the two actresses, it is hard to believe that Gurdeep is the most incompetent actress ever seen n PD is the perfect one. Both have their virtues and flaws. Prachi might have done some scenes better if she had been around (note the "if"). But Gurdeep has also done some scenes better than how Prachi might have done them; but we will need to remove that bias from our minds to appreciate this.

If tomorrow Prachi acts in a remake of some movie(Farhan Akhtar) has already made one remake-Don),there's fair chance that she too might be unfairly compared with the previous heroine n get the thumbs down(as her fans,we might find it difficult to digest such a public verdict).I cannot even imagine Prachi being able to convincingly play Basanti in a remake of Sholay,but that doesn't make prachi any less or more of an actress than Hema Malini. . No doubt Prachi is the one who made Bani's character popular. At the same time GK is playing her part very well. She had stuck with the task that prachi walked away from. Anyway KS is still running successfully inspite of the stupid leaps, gross storyline, n replacement of main protagonist.. May be Indian audience don't compare PD n GK. …. I took time too to get used to Gurdeep initially. But I watch Gurdeep in an absolute sense without mentally comparing her with Prachi. So it is then easier for me to appreciate some of her good scenes while at the same time identifying the scenes where she didn't look very convincing. I've only one request to PD fans, If you can't appreciate GK's work,its quite understandable but stop making fun of her n insulting her work.Same thing I'm saying to GK fans,don't insult PD n her hard work .

Sorry Vidya for spoiling your thread.I just logged in n found many posts mocking GK. It just spoiled my mood. I visit this forum to read some good FF's to cool down. I don't feel like reading anything now. I bet you dear, even if creatives give us some mind blowing JB scenes no one will appreciate it since GK is portraying bani . For me, Prachi was good as the old Bani n Gurudeep is good as the current Bani. Nothing more to say….

You did not spoil my thread... you have said what I also believe.

I feel that Gurdeep has been doing justice to the role of Bani and it is pathetic that many keep comparing her to Prachi!

Granted, Prachi made Bani come alive for us, but it was HER CHOICE to leave.

For us the Bani lovers, Gurdeep filled that void....Her character could have been killed off like Vedika in Sindoor.

I just think that the creatives need to provide scenes tnhat will endear some of the detractors to her and let them finally accept her as Bani... only when the opportunity is created will she be able to show her mettle.

It is more an issue of the directors not seizing the opportunities presented.

I also would prefer some positiveness between them, but the acceptance came too soon.

Jai should have fought hard for her forgiveness so that they stood a chance of having a stronger relationship in the end.

I perfectly understand what u r trying to say.

I remember how much I used to enjoy back when JW was sooo mad at Bani(Prachi) but when they got together it was "duh" !!

Post AD,same thing happened.Even though they tortured the audience by butchering JW and made a mahan out of Bani,there was still an attraction between audience and KS,and of course between JB.Creatives seem to be suffering from short memory or selective amnesia after they show a reunion.

Same thoughts went through my mind after watching yesterdays and todays episode.I expected some conversation between them,sort out things somewhat,and maybe they did that briefly,hence that scene at the gate between JB.But it was very lame,i must say.

And now,about GK.Well,she seems to be the favorite target these days.Whatever happens,its her fault,PD left,that too is GK's fault.I cannot understand why people have to criticize GK to the extreme extent to glorify PD.Can u imagine,someone mentioned that a few on the forum,r personally against her,and hence trying to tarnish her public image too.(That allegation was against me too) Simply fail to understand what type of reasoning they will accept,so,i am offering none.

Bottomline,I am enjoying the JB scenes,dont care for the actors.If RK leaves tomorrow,i will still stick around and if i like the new face,i will continue watching it.

I hope i didnt blabber too much.

Thank you for writing down your thoughts, as they reflect what I feel too!

I know that everyone doesn't have to love a particular actor or actress. But, my point is, why criticize the actor or actress by using terms like "Ms Senior Actress" or "Arched eyebrows"? Isn't there a better way to write down what you don't like about the acting rather than using such terms? Its not just for Gurdeep, I would feel the same if any actor or actress is criticised by using unnecessary terms. Its ok if you constructively write down what you don't like, that isn't difficult, is it?

Truthfully speaking, the chemistry between a couple can only carry a show so far. After that, its got to have a story that keeps the audience there. There are one or two serials where the chemistry between the couples is awesome, but the serial isn't doing well.

Doesn't matter if some find the story rubbish, because a serial or a movie runs or becomes a success based on majority. Somehow, KS has kept afloat, even after problems like the creatives who like negativity and Prachi leaving. Of course, we can't predict the fate of the serial in the immediate future, it may continue to hold with the current track or may tank. Lets see!

Its not easy for anyone to step into another actor's role. Gurdeep has done that and I think the audience (Majority) has accepted her. I watch KS for RK and JB. I know that I would not be able to continue with KS if Ram leaves. But I sure will not start comparing, if a new actor steps into the role (I hope that Ram doesn't leave, he is Jai Walia to me). In my mind, the comparisons are bound to be there, but I will not write them down as that is not going to achieve anything, its better to stop watching if its too painful to see someone else essaying a role. If I know firmly that the original actor/actress is never going to come back to the role, I will not keep comparing as its futile.

I hope that no one is offended, I just wanted to say what I felt in my heart.

I like the mature manner that you all have shown when discussing GK on this thread!

Let's show her some appreciation for the great job she is doing... after all, it is only a SHOW and she is keeping us faithful to KS despite all the nonsense that has passed for storylines.

Of course there is chemistry between Ram n gurdeep too but it is little less as compared to Ram and prachi..i think the creatives and the directors should enhance it between ram n gurdeep for better chemistry
