Future Predictions,Thoughts to Ponder on!

We have seen the Serial taking many twists and turns in the last few months. We all have mourned the death of the central character Astha, have missed her a lot. We have also been contemplating whether she will make her re-entry or not. At this juncture, the serial is proceeding into some rough weather where we as viewers, want it to end nicely and with a convincing end....

But before this serial is called Quits, the story still needs to get to a satisfactory and convincing end!!! So let us just think of some crucial points which need to be answered before this serial ends!!! So let us just Predict our way forward asto what might happen in this serial.

Friends, this section has not had valuable discussions, courtesy the dragging storyline, loss of interest in viewers etc. But let us now put all that aside. You all have been following the serial by either watching it or reading the updates here. So please friends, this is a sincere effort to make this section lively with discussions and arguments pouring in from you all.

So please put your thinking caps on, try to predict. I am putting forward certain questions that need to be answered in this prediction...

• First of all, Do you all think Abhi is really the father of Yash? Will this turn out to be another wicked move by Kiran to ruin Abhi and Simran? Give us justifications if you feel Abhi is Yash's father, also justify if you feel this is not true. How do you think Yash will react if at all he comes to know that Abhi is not his father? How will Yash take it after knowing the fact about his mom Kiran?

• How do you think Yash and Kiran are going to be exposed?

• Will Sakshi start to reciprocate to Yash's feelings. How do you justify Sakshi's dilemma?

• Are we going to witness Astha-Sid wedding in the near future? Will Manas make a comeback?

• Who according to you is the guardian of Gaurav? Will this make a strong impact on the story?

• Do you think Urmila's fears and insecurity because of her bad past is justified? Do you really think a person who has committed a murder like in Urmila's case, does not deserve to lead a life forgetting her past? Do you think Past deeds affect the Present and Future? If yes, why? If no, why?

• How do you think the future track of the story is going to proceed? We have known Ajai Sinha as a flawless Director. He has given us some very nice serials in the past. Now that the story has not procceded as per the viewers' wish and that some of the viewers have lost interest in this effort of Ajai Sinha's, how do you think Ajai Sinha will justify himself? Do you think, after all this, the story might just fall on track again, end on a very satisfying note as wished by the viewers?

First of all, Do you all think Abhi is really the father of Yash? Will this turn out to be another wicked move by Kiran to ruin Abhi and Simran? To be honest I think abhi is yashs father. Because we see a lot of similarities between abhi and yash that shows that he is his fathers son. Yash being attracted to shakshi someone who is older to him. Same way abhi was toward simran. And I think yash will strat to see things and relaise that his mom has lied to him about abhi.. that it was her who left abhi and how she came between simran and abhi. After knowing all this yash will take his fathers side and live with simran and them. As we all know simran has a big heart and she will accept him as abhis son.
How do you think Yash and Kiran are going to be exposed?
I think anil will see yash and then tell everyone about him and kiran.
Will Sakshi start to reciprocate to Yash's feelings. How do you justify Sakshi's dilemma?
Yes I think she will. Because we can see that she is ever attracted toward him and the way he treats her, she likes that and before we know they will fall in love together. Because after all they are living in the same house and its bound to happen.
Are we going to witness Astha-Sid wedding in the near future? Will Manas make a comeback?
For some reason I dont think the marriage will take place that easily. Bc for once gaurav is in the picture. And I think yash will try to make sid believe that something is going on between aastha and gaurav.. and I think by the time manas comes back things will be totally different.
Who according to you is the guardian of Gaurav? Will this make a strong impact on the story?
I think its that doctor. I dont remember his name. his wife was on wheelchair and they couldnt have kids and them simran helped them. I think its going to be him.

Yes past does effect our future. Because we always feel that ppl are treating us different bc of the things we have done. Person like Urmi has to watch her every step bc she doesnt want anyone to think that she is not worth the job.
How do you think the future track of the story is going to proceed?I think they will bring the real aastha back and she will fight over how they forgot her and gave her name to sia. And yash will know the truth about kiran and live with simran and abhi. And kiran will use the real aastha. And things will not be as good between sia and sid. But in the end they will all live happily ever after.

This is where I think Ajai Sinha has lost his touch. He cannot be flawless. Kiran had an abortion when she was with Abhi. She left him…. She could have been pregnant at that time, but she still spent the night with Anil Shourie. Without a DNA test, how is she sure that Yash is Abhi's child? Gosh.. this has become like one of the talk shows where the mother has slept with 2 guys , 2 nights in a row and she is pregnant. Why should a lady be shown so full of crap. I agree we have people with manipulative ideas, but in our serials it is either black or white.. why is it so difficult to have people with gray shades?If Yash comes to know that Abhi is not his father, then I guess Kiran will have to think about another explanation.. still accusing Abhi and Simran. Yash will again be fooled by Kiran with her emotional blackmail.

Yes, I do think Abhi is Yash's dad. In the beginning I thought it was another ploy of Kiran's but then they showed the flashbacks where she decides not to have an abortion. Also, the flashbacks and other thoughts were *her* thoughts when she was alone (at least that's how we viewers got to see it) - so that part could not have been a ploy..At least that's what I feel. I think Yash will get a shock when he gets to see his mom's true colours, what else is new?

• How do you think Yash and Kiran are going to be exposed?

Maybe by Sid eventually..

She may - as was discussed here, she probably feels a certain amount of loneliness and when she sees someone showing such Tender Loving Care😉 for her, she just gets emotional and unbeknownst to her starts feeling some kind of attraction for Yash..

I think so.. Since they are to be engaged soon.. I think Manas will return soon as well..Hope he does anyway.

No clue on this one.. I hope it is not another new story the director starts..

To some extent it is justified, because I think it is human tendency to base our opinions on our past experiences.. However I do think Urmila has changed drastically for the better and deserves a fair chance to succeed in life. I am happy that she has been given a good chance and is making good use of it.

I liked Hasratein but I did not like its ending. In my opinion, Saavi and KT were both extremely selfish and I have no clue why the director wanted the audience to symapthize with them.. I hope Astitva has a decent ending and I also hope they don't drag it on forever.. It is high time they end it, after tying the loose ends..I don't know why Ajai Sinha even bothered having the 18 year leap in the first place.

I agree with most of your points, especially the one on Manas!

Regarding the above - I think there was an explanation in just one episode as usual😆. They showed the flashback when Kiran was going to get Abhi's baby aborted but decided not to as the doctor told her it was her last chance to have a baby. It was then that she started sleeping around with Anil just so he would accept the child - as she did not want to get back with Abhi.. Hope this explains things better.😃

Yeah, that might be better than the real story anyways - imagination is boundless!!

No, i dont think that Yash is Abhi's son - nor is he Anil's...i mean who can be sure when Kiran has been shown to be such a lose lady? Its perfect for Jerry Springer Show. She is hoping that he is Abhi's for obvious reasons - she is obsessed with Abhi. By the way, i dont think that attraction to older lady is a genetic trait, so i have to respectfully disagree with a previous post on this - however, this is a typical hindi serial, so "allah jaane kya hoga aage, moula jaane kya hoga aage..."

• How do you think Yash and Kiran are going to be exposed?

By Yash opening his trap in front of somebody. Or by him getting into some serious trouble and Simran helping him out - then he will just melt and apologize for it all. O wait, I thought of another one - Saakshi will be very very sick after they fall in love and Simran will be the one who saves her life selflessly (liek everything else she does of course) and Yash will decide ki "aisi mahaan aurat ka maine buraa chaaha?? dhikkar hai mujhpe aur meri maa par..."

• Will Sakshi start to reciprocate to Yash's feelings. How do you justify Sakshi's dilemma?

I dont think its a dilemma - she is recently divorced from an insensitive jerk. Yash is attentive, supposedly "goodlooking", stays in the same house as her, and young with a clear Oedipal complex so it just might work out...and she will slip and fall for him.

• Are we going to witness Astha-Sid wedding in the near future? Will Manas make a comeback?

Near future - no! I think it would be the grand finale episode or sthg. if this serial ever ends that is! I never saw the show before the leap, so personally i dont think that Manas is relevant as a link in the show, so he may not be brought back. For the same reason, Aastha has ceased to be an active link, so she may not be brought back either.

• Who according to you is the guardian of Gaurav? Will this make a strong impact on the story?

Anil Shourie!!! 😆 or the other guy who is Abhi's editor - cant remember his name right now...

Urmila's fears and insecurity are not justified. If a woman is hirable after committing a murder, plotting murder, etc. by Simran, there is no reason for her to be let go. I think that the past and the punishment following the murder is reason enough for that person to never be able to let it go. I am always impressed with the way hindi-serial actresses can so easily leave the whole prison experience behind them - Urmila in Astitva, Rimjhim in PKG, etc.

• How do you think the future track of the story is going to proceed? One word for this - sloooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwllllyyyyyyyWe have known Ajai Sinha as a flawless Director. ?!?!?!!!?!?!!??? He has given us some very nice serials in the past. So basically you are saying that the past does create expectations for the future, in which case the previous question becomes redundant!! Now that the story has not procceded as per the viewers' wish and that some of the viewers have lost interest in this effort(at torture or what??!!) of Ajai Sinha's, how do you think Ajai Sinha will justify himself? He will not justify himself because he may not have a justification for dragging his good serial to the dust like this. 😕Do you think, after all this, the story might just fall on track again, end on a very satisfying note as wished by the viewers?No i doubt this very seriously. However, my previous (though limited) experience with hindi serials suggests that when people realize that the story is going to end, there is an uproaring of interest and thereby leads to a satisfactory conclusion, even if the pace, storyline, etc. does not improve.

1. Simran gets her eyesight back
2. Aastha and Sid get married. Buaji and family come for wedding. Manas also comes and he and Simran regain thier friendship, he is also courteous with Urmila though they dont ofcourse end-up together.

4. Please no one else dies esp. Saurabh. And no dead person miraculously or unrealistically returns.

6. Noone else exposes him, Yash himself comes to Simran and confesses the truth, basically he is only bad because of the bad influence of Kiran. She assures him help relocating and finding him a job (like she did for Neha).
7. Last scene: Semi-circle as in the 70's films, Shaguna makes a joke and everyone laughs heartily.

I used to enjoy threads on predictions because I thought I understood Ajai Sinha.But the recent episodes have me confused.

In his interview he has said he does not want to take "gaalis" from his fans by showing the same run of the mill incidents. But he has done so in the past few months.How he is going to come back on track is what I am watching.

Considering that there's not much time left for the serial to wrap up, and assuming that Ajaiji is going to hold the reins,I think this is how it will go........(something similar to ssgg's views)

Sorry Sree,I'm not following your questions because of this BIG news on Astitva ending soon.

Simran is convinced that Sid has been framed.The matter won't be taken lightly.She is finally going to do some retrospective thinking, and if she is wise enough to consult her father(remember he is an intelligent retd.IAS officer) they are going to realise that there is more to it than just framing Sid. This will lead to furthur investigation and will expose Yash and Kiran. How this will happen,I can't say for sure.

Manas will get the whiff of his son being in trouble and finally come down to India.(If Harsh Chayya has kindly obliged to do a brief appearance before ending the serial). He will NOT marry Urmilla or regret his choice of Ria as wife?/soulmate? whatever.

Saakshi may be attracted to Yash because she is lonely and flattered by the attention she is getting,but good sense will prevail because Yash is only 18(not 25 like Abhi was) and lots of truth will be revealed.

Yash is Anil's son but Simran will forgive him and take him under her wings because she has always been a good Samaritan.

If Yash is Abhi's son,then Simran will most definitely forgive him and accept him gracefully. After all he is a "bachcha" too and Kiran was responsible for all his vile ways.

Kiran will commit suicide.Sorry for my morbid imagination,but there will be one death before the serial ends.😒 She will apologise to Yash,Abhi and Anil.She may not want to face Simran,but eventually will at Simran's insistance.

Before dying she may donate her eyes for Simran.(I sincerely hope there is some other donor but,I'm afraid not)

The final scene is going to be Sid and Sia's marriage....All the actors available will be shown or atleast mentioned(Ajaiji never forgets these minute detalis)

Shaguna will say something in her inimitable style...laughter all around. Even amongst the TV audience...enjoying the joke as well as expressing joy at it's ending.

I know many amongst us are not going to be"happy" that it's ending.😭

The final episode will last for an hour.

The whole unit of Astitva will gather and say nice things about the serial and one another.(I'm not being sarcastic here,I really want to see these actors/technicians as persons,not the characters or role they played,on screen or behind it.

I shall truely miss this section and the discussions.😔💔

Been a wonderful experience knowing great guys like you. Surely we will all meet in some other interesting section.👍🏼
