The story opens with the scene where the Pandavas have lost their kingdom, their army and even themselves to Duryodhan while playing the game of dice. Eventually the Pandavas lose Draupadi too. Duryodhan orders his brother Dusshasan to disrobe Draupadi in the presence of the entire court. Draupadi cries for help but Pandavas are unable to help as they have lost her to Duryodhan. Finally Draupadi cries for help from Lord Krishna. Lord Krishna does help her avoiding her to be disrobed. The story catapults to the scene where Maharishi Vyas questions Brahma Dev about the destruction caused by the battle. He says he is totally confused and unable to understand how the destruction of human beings could be for the good of humanity. Brahma dev answers all his questions and asks Maharishi Vyas to write the story of Mahaabhaarat which would serve as a major teaching and guiding force for the generations to come and would also be regarded as the Fifth Veda.
Episode - 2
Shri Ganesh agrees to write the story of Mahabharat on the condition that Vyas must dictate the story without pausing. Vyas also asks Shri Ganesh that he must grasp the meaning first and then write the story. The story begins with King Shantanu who meets a beautiful lady on the banks of river. King Shantanu is stunned by her beauty and asks her to marry him. The female agrees to marry but with conditions that King Shantanu will never stand in the way of whatever she does nor question any of her activity. If he ever does that she will leave King Shantanu forever. The infatuated king agrees to all her conditions, and she becomes his wife and starts living with him. After 1 year she gives birth to their first child whom she throws in the river. King Shantanu is horrified with her act but does not ask her the reason as he had promised her that he would never question her. She kills seven new born babies by throwing them in the river. King Shantanu cannot bear this any longer and stops her while she throws their eighth child in the river.
Episode - 3
Shantanu is disgusted and furious with his wife's practice of killing all the sons. Shantanu goes against the oath and confronts his wife for her ill-practise questioning her for the reason behind the killing of all his sons. Shantanu's wife reveals to him that she is the river Ganga and was killing all her children to set them free from the cycle of life as they were cursed in their previous lives. She also reveals to him that this was all destined to happen as they had sinned in their previous lives. Ganga later departs from Shantanu with their eighth son promising to return their son when Shantanu needs him. Maharishi Vyas narrates this incident to Lord Ganesha where he also reveals the story about Shantanu and Ganga's eighth son Devrata. Maharishi Vyas tells that Devrata after departing from his father trains in yogic powers and battlefield tactics and warfare. He is trained by the sixth avatar of Lord Vishnu, Lord Parshuram. Devrath grows up to be a master in battlefield warfare. He returns to Hastinapur where the people and King Shantanu are worried about his successor to his throne. Maharishi Vyas also tells that Devrath who is a master in warfare stops the water flow of his own mother Ganga with his fierce arrows.
Episode - 4
King Shantanu is annoyed by Devrath's act where he stops the water flow of river Ganga with his fierce arrows. He asks his Senapati to present Devrath in the court. Devrath refuses to meet him and also defeats King Shantanu's army. Shantanu decides to meet Devrath. Devrath justify himself to Shantanu saying that he was only practicing his skills when his army punished him. Shantanu and Devrath have a fight where they show their braveness. Ganga appears after sometime and reveals to Shantanu that Devrath is his son for whom he went against his vow to save him. Shantanu and devrath are very delighted to meet. Ganga hands over Devrath to King Shantanu and disappears. Shantanu accepts Devrath whole-heartedly. After 16 years Devrath becomes the successor of King Shantanu's kingdom.
Episode - 5
Devrath grows up to be a strong and fearless man. King Shantanu is impressed with Devrath and declares Devrath as the King of Hastinapur. Maharishi Vyas tells Lord Ganesha that King Shantanu, once while hunting in the jungle is drawn towards a fragrance. King Shantanu reaches the village of fishermen on the banks of Yamuna following the fragrance. There the King meets the beautiful, Satyavati emanating the magical fragrance. He decides to marry her but Satyavati's father puts forth a condition. King Shantanu is enraged hearing the condition where Satyavati's son would succeed the throne after him. King Shantanu refuses to agree to the condition and returns. Devrath goes to Satyavati's village after seeing King Shantanu sad ever since he came back from his trip to the village. The village people are scared and run helter skelter after seeing Devrath approaching their village.
Episode - 6
Devrath goes to Satyavati's village after seeing King Shantanu sad ever since he came back from his trip to the village. Devrath asks Dashraj the reason for Shantanu's unhappiness. Dashraj reveals about his father's love for Satyavati and his desire to marry her. Satyavati repeats the condition put forth by her father to Devrath that he should never aspire for the throne of Hastinapur. Dashraj is worried that Devrath's son would succeed to the throne instead of Satyavati's son. Devrath on hearing this vows in presence of river Ganges, never to marry and never to aspire for the throne of Hastinapur . Shantanu is unhappy with the decision of Devarath . On his way back Devrath meets Satyavati who asks him to take his oath back as everyone would blame her for being unfair to Devrath.
Episode - 7
Maharishi Vyas tells Lord Ganesha how there was great sorrow amidst the people of Hastinapur due to the great sacrifice which Devvrat had made. Devvrat inspite of his great sacrifice had great satisfaction about his sacrifice for his father's happiness. Shantanu on the other side was furious with Devvrat for the pledge that he had taken of giving up his right to succeed the throne after him. Satyavati also disturbed, asks King Shantanu to request Devvrat to take back his pledge. Shantanu fails to change Devvrat's mind but very impressed by his noble and loving thoughts, he blesses Devvrat with a new name 'Bhishma' and gives him the supreme power to decide the time of his death. Satyavati gives birth to her first son Chitrangad. Bhishma as promised gives away his right to the throne to Chitrangad. King Shantanu dies in grief and guilt towards Bhishma. Chitrangad does not live long and the second son of Satyavati 'Vichitraveer' succeeds the throne. Maharishi Vyas tells about the King of Kashi who wanted to get his daughters Ambalika, Ambika and the eldest daughter Amba married.
Episode - 8
King of Kashi does not invite the prince of Hastinapur for the swayamvar as he thinks that Vichitraveer is not capable for his daughters. Bhisma considers it as an insult of his kingdom and decides to attend the swayamvar without any invitation. Ambika and Ambalika are very excited for their swayamvar. Amba is in love with Salva Naresh and has decided that she will choose him in the swayamvar. As the swayamvar begins Amba, Ambika and Ambalika are asked to choose their grooms. At the same time Bhisma comes in and challenges King of Kashi that he is taking along his daughters to Hastinapur without his consent. All the princes who had come for the swayamvar try to defeat Bhisma but in vain. Salva Naresh challenges Bhisma to defeat him. After a bitter fight Salva was worsted, but Bhishma spared his life. Amba, Ambika and Ambalika are forced to go with Bhima as none of the princes are able to defeat Bhisma. Everyone in Hastinapur prepares for Vichitraveer's marriage with Kashi's daughters. Amba refuses to marry Vichitraveer as she had mentally chosen Salva as her husband.
Episode - 9
Amba refuses to marry Vichitraveer. She reveals to Bhisma that she likes Salva Naresh and has mentally chosen him as her husband. Bhisma realises his mistake and sends Amba to Salva Naresh with proper escort. Amba is very happy and thank Bhisma. Amba goes to Salva Naresh who welcomes her with respect but refuses to marry her as Bhisma pitied Salva Naresh and had spared his life which was an insult for him. He tells Amba that Bhisma will realise his mistake everytime he sees Amba as due to him her life has been ruined and wants him to repent for the same. Salva Naresh decides to take revenge with Bhisma using Amba. Salva sends her back to Hastinapur asking Amba to marry Bhisma. Amba asks Bhisma to marry as Salve Naresh has rejected her. Bhisma tells her that it is impossible for him to marry her and break his vow. Amba then curses Bhisma that one day some female from his kingdom will be insulted too and he will not be able to help her due to his vow. At that moment Bhisma will regret but will also be helpless. She also tells Bhisma that she will be the reason for his death too.
Episode - 10
Maharishi Vyas tells Lord Ganesha the horrid times that Amba faced. Amba refused to marry Vichitraveer while Salve Naresh rejected her. Amba vows to seek revenge. She deeply meditates which impresses Lord Shiva. Lord Shiva grants her wish to be fulfilled in her next life but so great was the fire within Amba to seek revenge that she submitted herself to the fire god. Meanwhile Vichitraveer expires due to sudden illness. Amba wanted to take a new birth to avenge her humiliation at the hands of Bhishma. Satyavati worried with the future of Hastinapur asks Bhishma to have a relationship with Ambika and Ambalika. Bhishma refuses as he is bound by his vow to remain celibate but Satyavati manages to convince him. Satyavati also manages to convince Ambika and Ambalika for the sake of a successor to the throne. Ambika goes first into Bhishma's resting place where she is shocked to find Maharishi Vyas. Maharishi Vyas with his divine powers without having a physical relationship grants Ambika a child in her womb.
Episode - 11
Ambika is stunned to see Maharashi Vyas instead of Bhisma in the room and shuts her eyes. Later Vyaas reveals to Ganesha that Satyavati had chosen him who was her eldest son to grant a son to Hastinapur. He also reveals that he was the son of Satyavati and Parshara and was born before Satyavati got married to Shantanu. Ambalika enters the room after Ambika leaves. She is also stunned to see Maharishi Vyaas and turns pale. Vyaas tells Ganesha that Ambika and Ambalika were shocked to see him in the room as they both expected Bhisma as they thought he is the elder son of Satyavati. Maharshi asks Satyavati to send Ambika again so that he can grant a healthy child to Hastinapur. Ambika is scared and asks one of her servant to go into Vyas's room. Maharishi tells Ganesha that Dhritarashtra, Ambika's son was born blind because Ambika had shut her eyes when she saw Vyas. Pandu, Ambalika's son was very weak as she had turned pale seeing Vyas. Vidur the servant's son was the healthy among them. Few years later Dhritarashta, Pandu and Vidur come to Hastinapur after completing their studies. Everyone in Hastinapur was very excited.
Episode - 12
Shakuni and Gandhari are elated with the news of Gandhari's marriage to the King of Hastinapur. Shakuni, thrilled by hearing the good news, vows never to play the game of chausar. Satyavati is unhappy with Bhishma's decision to enthrone 'Pandu', the younger son of Vichitraveer as King of Hastinapur instead of Dhritrashtra as he is blind. But Bhishma by deciding to get Dhritrashtra married before Pandu planned to enthrone Dhritrashtra's son as the heir to the throne. Shakuni is later shocked to see Pandu being enthroned as King while Gandhari's marriage is announced with Dhritrashtra. Gandhari accepting her fate covers her eyes with a band of cloth forever to remain blind like her husband. Shakuni enraged with the events comes to live in Hastinapur with Gandhari and vows to annihilate the kingdom of Hastinapur putting it in darkness forever; just the way Gandhari's vision was blacked out.
Epiosde - 13
Dhritrashtra and Gandhari accept each other as soul mates and vow to be each other's guide and strength. Maharishi Vyas tells Lord Ganesha further that Pandu marries Kunti. Amidst all the celebration Shakuni was the only one who was dejected and worried for Gandhari. Gandhari does not get into Shakuni's false talks against Kunti but in fact accepts and welcomes Kunti in the family. Pandu later marries his second wife, Madri. Once Pandu chances upon two stags; he kills them, not realising that the stags were in fact two sages. Before dying, the sage curses Pandu that he would too die as and when he would try to have a physical relationship. Pandu, worried with the curse, gives the throne to Dhritrashtra and goes into self exile with his wives. Kunti impresses God and is blessed with a child. Gandhari is frustrated as she couldn't give birth to a single child in two years. A small ball of meat comes from within her instead of a child after two years. Maharishi Vyas cuts the ball of meat into 100 pieces and keeps them in pots so that Gandhari becomes mother to 100 children. As time passes, first of the 100 children is born from the pots.
Episode - 14
On the birth of Gandhari's first child, there is a sudden outcry of gruesome beasts on all horizons. These terrible signs make Vidura urge his brother Dhritarashtra to abandon the child as it is evident that he will be the reason for destruction of their race. But Dhritarashtra, already envious of his brother Pandu, does not listen to Vidur's advice. Maharishi Vyas tells lord Ganesh about Shakuni and Kans; where Shakuni loves his nephew to death, Kans is killing all his nephews. Kunti is in a dilemma as she is happy for Gandhari and her new born son but at the same time she fears for Devki and her child. Kunti fears that Kans would kill the eighth Child of Devki as the child would later be threat to his life. Later in the episode Kans goes towards the cell where Devki and Vasudev have been imprisoned.
Episode - 15
Kans, the brother of Devaki and an evil king, was intent upon killing all the children of his sister because of a prediction that he would die at the hands of her eighth son. Kansa thus threw his sister Devaki and her husband Vasudeva into prison, and proceeded to kill each of their children as they were born. Maharishi tells Ganesha that Balram was Devki and Vasudev's seventh child but was miraculously transferred to Rohini's womb who was Vasudev's second wife. Lord Vishnu tells Goddess Lakshmi that in his earlier birth as Ram, one of Vishnu's avatar, he had promised Keikeyi that he would take birth as her child as she regretted her action. Vishnu also tells her that in this life Kausalya is born as Yasodha and Keykeyi is born as Devki. Therefore to keep his promise, Krishna, Lord Vishnu's avatar will take birth from Devki's womb but will be raised up by Yasodha. The day when Lord krishna was going to take birth, many miracles happen. Eventually Lord Krishna is born.
Episode - 16
Lord Krishna is born to Devki. As Kans knows about it he rushes to kill the child. Kans tries hard to kill the child but the kid miraculously slips out of his hands every time. All the fourteen Devi's appear before Kans revealing to him that the child is out of his reach in safe hands and he would have to wait until the child grows up to kill him. Later Vasudev reveals to Devki that when she was unconscious, a divine light had asked him to take his son and exchange the child with Yashoda's. Sheshnaag shielded the child from the rough weather and rain while Vasudev carried the child over his head crossing the river to reach Gokul. Devki is relieved after hearing that her child is safe.
Episode - 17
Yasoda and Nanda keep the naming ceremony of their son. Yasoda and Nanda decide to name their son as Krishna. Shakuni tries to incite Dhritrashtra who later decides to announce Duryodhan as the next successor of the kingdom. Kunti gives birth to her third child Arjuna. Kans calls a pandit and asks him to predict his future. The pandit tells Kans that he is going to live only for a few years as Devki's son is going to kill him. Kans punishes the pandit by cutting his head. He orders his people to kill all newly born kids in Gokul and Mathura. Kans' people go to Gokul and Mathura to kill the newly born kids. They also take away Krishna with an intention to kill him.
Episode - 18
Kans's men take away Krishna and try to kill him. Krishna disappears every time the men try to kill him and finally they give up. Kans soldiers inform him that they could not kill Nand's child. Kans sent his DaiMaa who is a demon to kill Krishna. Shakuni arranges for the ceremony to announce Suyodhan as the next successor of the kingdom. Bhishma tells Pandu that he will soon announce Yudhistir as the prince of Hastinapur. Yashoda and Nand are worried about Krishna as Kans wants to kill him.
Episode -19
Dritrashtra is stopped by Bhisma when he is announcing Suyodhan as the successor of Hastinapur. Bhisma and everyone present in the ceremony oppose Dhritrashtra's decision to announce Suyodhan as the prince. Dhritrashtra reminds Bhisma how he broke the rules and gave his throne to Vichitraveer. Kans's DaiMaa disguised as some servant enters Nand's house and tries to kill Krishna. Krishna with his miraculous powers kills her too. Bhisma decides to leave Hastinapur forever.
Episode - 20
Yasodha is stunned when she sees the whole universe in Krishna's mouth. Vidhur tries to stop Bhisma from leaving Hastinapur but in vain. Ambalika and Gandhari go to meet Pandu and ask him to persuade Bhisma and stop him from leaving Hastinapur. Shakuni asks some people to kidnap and kill one of Pandu's kids so that Pandu gets threatened and Suyodhan can be announced as the next successor of Hastinapur. Shakuni's people mistakenly kidnap Suyodhan. A demon sent by Kans in the form of a storm again abducts Krishna.
Episode - 21
Bhisma decides to leave Hastinapur but a depressed Dhritrashtra stops him and informs him about Suyodhan's kidnapping. Lord Krishna trapped in the tornado saves Suyodhan from the killers sent by Shakuni. Pandu reaches the spot to fight off the lone swordsman. During their fight the swordsman reveals to him that they had actually come to kidnap his son. Later Bhisma too reaches the spot and kills the swordsman before he could kill Pandu. Bhishma and Pandu are amazed at the sight of Lord Krishna who being such a small child had survived the storm. Later when Lord Krishna disappears, Bhisma is convinced that the child was someone divine. Bhisma, on seeing Pandu's love for Suyodhan and inspired from the little child i.e. Lord Krishna, decides against leaving Hastinapur.
Episode - 22
Dhritrashtra is relieved when Bhishma brings back Suyodhan safely. Dhritrashtra feels guilty when his mother tells him that Pandu had saved his son and on the other hand he had taken away Pandu's son's right to the throne. Dhritrashtra decides against giving the throne to Suyodhan as Pandu's son are the rightful successor to the throne. He also decides to apologize to Bhishma. Bhishma decides to hold a 'yagna' as Suyodhan returns safely. Gandhari is horrified when she smells the typical fragrance of hair oil which reminded her of Suyodhan's kidnapper. She follows the person and is later shocked to know that Shakuni wanted to kill one of Pandu's son but his men had mistakenly kidnapped Suyodhan.
Episode - 23
Bhisma increases the security after Suyodhan's kidnap. Gandhar Naresh comes to attend the 'yagya' and also decides to take Shakuni along with him to Gandhar. Shakuni refuses to go back to Gandhar. Gandhari tells Shakuni that she is aware about his conspiracy to kidnap Pandu putra. Gandhari expresses her discontent over Shakuni's hatred for Pandu putra. Dhritarashtra comes to know that Shakuni is leaving Hastinapur and goes to stop him. Dhritarashtra is successful in convincing Shakuni to stay back in Hastinapur.
Episode - 24
Shakuni refuses to go back with Gandhar Naresh as Dhritrashtra had asked him to stay back. Kans summons Kaakasur to kill Lord Krishna. Kaakasur tries to strike but Lord Krishna appears into his heavenly avatar and forces Kaakasur to retreat. Shakuni is shocked when Kaakasur breathes his last in front him advising him to submit himself to the Lord. Pandu marries Madri. Madri is distressed as she is childless. Kunti gives Madri the magical mantra through which she had obtained her children from heavenly bodies. Eventually Madri gives birth to Nakul and Sahdev. Pandu passes away as he tries to have a physical relationship with Madri turning the curse of the sage Kindan true. After much persuasion Kunti decides to come back to Hastinapur with five children. Shakuni is worried with Kunti's return but decides not to let Pandu's sons to sit on the throne of Hastinapur.
Episode - 25
Shakuni incites Suyodhan against the Pandava's as they are coming back to Hastinapur thus sowing the seeds of hatred and jealousy in Suyodhan. Suyodhan too feels that the Pandava's would pose a threat to his right to the throne. Arjuna and Bhima have a scuffle with the royal guards. Bhishma and Vidur watching from a distance are impressed with their combat skills. Bhishma later welcomes the Pandava's inside the Palace.
Episode - 26
The Pandava's are welcomed in the palace courtyard with great fanfare. Everybody is thrilled to have the Pandava's and Kunti back with the family. The Pandavas are introduced to Suyodhan. Shakuni is shocked when Suyodhan embraces the Pandava's as his brothers. A teenaged Lord Krishna is introduced in the episode.
Episode - 27
Lord Krishna in his teens called as Kanha plays pranks around the whole village. Kanha is very happy when Balram tells him about the entry of the Pandava's into Hastinapur. Kunti punishes Bhima for eating before the pundits and sages. Kans is furious with Devki as she does not reveal the whereabouts of her eighth son. He then lashes out at Devki and tries to kill Vasudev but by Lord Krishna's grace Kans is unable to put his sword to Vasudev's neck.
Episode - 28
Shakuni tries to create rift between Suyodhan and Yudhishtir. He asks Yudhishtir to sit at Suyodhan's dinner place so that Suyodhan gets annoyed seeing Yudhishtir at his place. Suyodhan instead respects Yudhishtir being his elder brother and asks him to be seated at the same place. Bhima is punished by Kunti and is asked to starve for the entire day. Suyodhan secretly serves food to Bhima showing his concern for his brother. Everyone is happy to see Suyodhan's affection for his brothers. Yamuna river in Gokul becomes poisonous as some snake enters the river. Krishna wants to save his town and goes to Yamuna river.
Episode - 29
Lord Krishna while playing with his friends jumps into river Yamuna. Yashoda is worried and rushes to river Yamuna along with other villagers when one of the villager informs that Krishna has jumped into river Yamuna. The snake with one of his coils enveloped Lord Krishna and tried to kill him but later was forced to release Lord Krishna from his coils. Yashoda faints when she sees blood in the river Yamuna. On seeing the blood all the villagers think that Krishna is dead.
Episode - 30
Lord Krishna overpowers Kaalia Naag and is about to kill him when Kaalia Naag's wives beg of Lord Krishna to spare him. Kaalia accepting his defeat asks forgiveness and asks Lord Krishna's identity as no one could overpower him in water. Lord Krishna then shows all his avtaars to Kaalia Naag. Lord Krishna forgives Kaalia Naag and asks him to go and stay in an island. Lord Krishna also orders Garud to spare Kaalia Naag's life. Everybody is surprised when Lord Krishna emerges out of the river dancing on the head of Kaalia Naag. Yashoda does not like the villagers talking about Kanha terming him as mayavi, chaliya and one with divya shakti. Yashodha furious with the comments asks Lord Krishna as to who he really is. To which Lord Krishna reveals that he is not her son.
Episode - 31
Krishna gets upset when Yashoda question him about his real identity. He instead smartly questions Yashoda the reason why she suddenly feels that he is not her son. Yashoda apologises to him. Kaurav's and Pandava's gain their knowledge from Kripacharya. Shakuni provokes Kripacharya and asks him to give more importance to Kaurva's education. Suyodhan seeks Bhima's help in some task given to Kaurav's by Krispacharya. Suyodhan decides to help Pandava's as Kripacharya is unable to give time to Pandava's for their education. Sindhu Naresh comes to Hastinapur with a marriage proposal of his son Jayadrath for Dhritarashtra's daughter Duhsala. Dritarashtra and Bhisma agree for this marriage. Dhritarashtra announces that he will gift a piece of land to his daughter Dushala. Vidhur is tensed after hearing this and tells Bhisma that the land which Dritarashtra wants to gift Dushala has been gifted to Bhil Raj Satyadhanu by Pandu.
Episode - 32
Kaurava's and Pandava's come back home to attend Dushala's wedding. Everyone prepares for Dushala and Jayadrath's wedding. Bhima and Suyodhan play a prank with Jayadrath. Kunti later asks them to apologise to Jayadrath for their behaviour. Someone sends a message to Bhil Raj Satyadhanu on Kunti's behalf saying that Dritarashtra is going to attack his territory and imprison him. She also tells him that though Yudhishtir is the eldest son of the family Dritarashtra wants to crown Suyodhan as the king. Bhil Raj Satyadhanu decides to attack Hastinapur for his rights and to give Pandava's their rights. Krishna meets Radha in a temple.
Episode - 33
Lord Krishna meets Radha by chance in a temple. He is instantly attracted to her. Radha refuses to tell Lord Krishna her name. Lord Krishna introduces himself as Shyam as Radha had heard of Kisna of Gokul as a big trouble maker. Lord Narayan explains to Goddess Laxmi how in the present time her name would be taken before his name. Lord Krishna reveals his magnified avatar to an old lady who is denied entry into the temple.
Episode - 34
Lord Krishna reveals his magnified avatar to an old lady who is denied entry into the temple. Radha comes to know that Shyam is actually Lord Krishna when tries to evade a raging bull. Shakuni sends one of his men with a letter to Satyadhanu along with Kunti's necklace asking him to attack Hastinapur. Shakuni tries to create differences between Suyodhan and Pandavas as he wants the Pandavas and Kunti to leave Hastinapur. Bhima informs Dhritarashtra that Satyadhanu has attacked Hastinapur.
Episode - 35
Everybody gathers for Dushala's wedding. Bhishma stops Satyadhanu and puts him in jail when Satyadhanu along with his men comes to attack Hastinapur. Satyadhanu hands over a letter to Bhishma saying he was been asked by Kunti to attack Hastinapur else his land would be seized. Shakuni tells Kunti that someone is trying to kill Suyodhan so the throne must be given to Yudishtir. Shakuni incites Dhritarashtra against Kunti that she wants the throne to be given to Yudistir. Dritashtra hears Kunti revealing the same to Vidhur.
Episode ' 36
Lord Krishna along with his friends disguised as women reach Radha's house to meet her. Later Lord Krishna meets her posing himself as Lord Krishna's sister, expresses his love for Radha and asks her to meet him near the banks of river Yamuna. Satyadhanu reveals to Dritashtra that he was asked to attack Hastinapur else his land would be seized. Bhisma reveals that Kunti had ordered Satya Dhanu to attack Hastinapur.
Episode- 37
Satyadhanu and Kunti are confronted in the court for attacking Hastinapur. Kunti denies all the allegations that are put on her. Dhritarashtra does not believe her and accuses her that she never treated Suyodhan as her son and therefore wanted to kill him. Even Satya Dhanu denies that he tried to kill Suryodhan. Bhisma suspects one of the person present in court when he mentions about the necklace that was sent to Satyadhanu. Shakuni kills that person when he is about to speak the truth. Dhritarashtra forgives Shakuni for this crime and also apologises to Kunti. Kunti decides to leave Hastinapur but Bhishma convinces her to stay back.
Episode - 38
Krishna calls Radha to meet him near Yamuna river. Radha initially hesitates to meet Krishna but later goes there when she hears the sound of flute played by Krishna. Suyodhan is very disturbed when Kunti is held responsible for killing him. He feels unsecured and Shakuni provokes him against Kunti and Pandavas. Suyodhan feels cheated when Shakuni tells him that Pandavas and Kunti just want to steal the throne of Hastinapur. Suyodhan does not allow Kunti to enter his room. Suyodhan changes his name to Duryodhan and takes a vow that his hatred towards Pandava's had began and he will destroy them.
Episode - 39
Radha's parents are worried about her as she does not come back home till late. Radha is also nervous as she cannot tell her parents about Krishna. Radha assures her step mother that she hasn't done anything wrong that her parents would feel ashamed of her. Durshashan and his other brother tells Bhima that Kunti has tried to kill Duryodhan. Bhima gets annoyed and they all start fighting. Bhima unknowingly hurts Durshashan. Later Bhishma solves all their differences and asks Durshashan to apologise to Kunti. Even Duryodhan asks Durshashan to apologise to both Bhima and Kunti for misbehaving.
Episode - 40
Duryodhan and Bhima celebrate their birthdays together. Duryodhan reveals to Durshashan and Shakuni that he is planning to kill Bhima and then the other Pandava's. Duryodhan announces that Kauravas and Pandavas will go for an outing together to prove their bonding for each other. Bhishma is worried as he feels that Duryodhan's behaviour has changed. Duryodhan gets food for Bhima as he feels hungry. Bhima collapses after eating the food as Duryodhan adds poison in his food. Duryodhan and Durshashan throw Bhima in the river in that unconscious state. Everyone in Hastinapur is worried as Bhima is missing.
Episode - 41
Bhima wakes up under water when several snakes attack him. He fights and thwarts all the snakes away. The chief of the snakes come to see Bhima who was creating a ruckus in the waters. Bhima by chance meets his great grandfather underwater. On the other hand Duryodhan is questioned rather strictly by Bhishma about Bhima's whereabouts. Duryodhan denies any knowledge about Bhima. The palace is in great sorrow when Bhima is nowhere to be found, after so many days are passed. Bhima is given a miraculous drink by his great grandfather which would give him enormous power as compared to elephants. Duryodhan and Shakuni are shocked when Bhima returns to the palace in Hastinapur.
Episode - 42
Duryodhan is furious as Bhima has return safely. Everybody in the palace is ecstatic with Bhima's return. Kans calls upon Aagasur to kill Lord Krishna. Devki sends a bowl of rice with Rohini for Lord Krishna and Balram. Lord Krishna, known for his mischief is chased by some village girls. Lord Krishna with his friends hides in a cave which turns out to be Aagasur's mouth. Eventually Lord Krishna kills Aagasur saving all of his friends.
