So I was kicked out of the kitchen by all of my aunts, and since I have nothing to do, I thought I'd update
So it starts off with a girl walking inside a big building, she makes her way up to her office.
Van: good morning Aastha
A: good morning sir
Van: so what's on the agenda for today
A: well u have a few meetings, and that's about it
Van: well that's good, my son Shabd is going to come by today, so can u let me know when he comes
A: of course sir
--------------------- a little while later-----------------------
We see a man walking into vanraj's office, he goes up to Aastha
Guy: hi
Aastha: hello, do u have a meeting?
Guy: well I didn't think that I'd need a meeting to see my own father
A: oh im so sorry sir, u can go right on in
Guy: thanks, by the way im shabd, not sir I feel old if u call me that
A: right sir, I mean Shabd
After meeting Aastha Shabd starts to think of something'''..
Sha: hey dad what's going on
V: arre Shabd, come in
Shabd walks in and sits down
V: so how do u think we should start looking for a match for Shubh
Shabd: no need to look dad, I found the perfect girl for bhaiya
V: what who?
Sha: don't worry dad, u know her
V: who is it
Sha: come here
They walk over to the window of the office, and look out and Shabd points to Aastha
Sha: dad I think she would be perfect for bhaiya
V: ya son, I think ur absolutely right. Aastha beti is a very good girl, she is very cultured and very caring
Sha: yea and she's perfect for my brother
V: thik hai, I will talk to her father
Sha: all right dad, im gonna go, see u at home
V: k beta, u made my job very easy thanks
Sha: no problem dad
Shabd walks out of the office and stops by Aastha's desk
Sha: bye
Aastha: good bye Shabd
Sha: good u remembered
Aastha smiles: of course, I wouldn't want to make u feel old by calling u sir, waise u can call me Aastha
Shabd: ya sure, bye (thinks: no I think ill be calling u something else)

V: Aastha u can take the rest of the day off
Aas: wow thanks sir, but what about all the work
V: don't worry beti, its ok, come ill drop u off
A: no sir that's all right
V: no not at all, I need to speak to ur father
A: my father? But why?
V: don't worry, nothings wrong, lets go
Aastha is worried, but she doesn't say anything and they reach her house
A: papa? Where are u?
Aastha's dad comes out
A: papa meet my boss
P: Namaste
V: Namaste
P: Aastha apne boss ke liye chai bana lo
A: ji papa
V: wo, main aap se yaha apki beti ka haath mangne aaya hoon apne bte Shubh ke liye
P: j-j-ji?
V: ji mujhe Aastha beti bohat pasand hai aur mujhe lagta hai ki woh mere bte ke liye bilkul sayi choice hai
P: ji lekin dehej''.
V: ji nahi, there will be no dehej, hume sirf aapki beti chaiye
P: Well I don't mind, but I want to ask to Aastha first
V: no problem, kal aap mujhe bata dena
Aastha comes with chai
V:ji aab mein chalta hoon
P: think hai main aapko kaal baata do ga
V leaves
P: Aastha beti I need to talk to u
A; ji pap
P: beti vanraj-ji apne bte ke liye tumara haath magne aaye the
A: kya
P: yes beti and I think that u should say yes, woh bohut ache hain aur tum bhi wahan bohut kush raho gi
A: but papa, what about u and mahi
P: don't worry about us, im going to die soon aur mahi apna kyal rakh sakti hai
A: nahi papa main mahi ko akela mahi chordungi
P: Aastha tume meri kasam tum is rishte se inkar nahi karogi
A (crying): thik hai papa, and she goes to her room
p is happy because he knows that his daughter will be happy and will be settled down
the next day:
P calls V and tells him that Aastha has agreed
V: that's great, ill tell Shubh and we will come over for the ring ceremony tomorrow
P: but that's way to soon
V: don't worry, I want my son to get married fast
They hang up and vanraj goes to talk to Shubh
V: Shubh I have fixed ur marriage
Shu: dad u must be joking
V: no son I am serious
Shu: but dad I don't want to get married
V: dekho Shubh, it is my wish that u start living ur life again, and im sure this marriage will help u
Shu: but dad'''.
V: u will listen to me Shubh, I have already agreed to this marriage and im sure that ur mother would've wanted this for u, if not for me then do it for ur mother
Shu: thik hai dad
V: ok then be ready tmrw at 12, for the engagement
S: fine dad
The next day
Shubh and his family arrive at aastha's house (the ceremony was only going to be with the two families)
Aastha comes down looking very radiant, but Shubh barely notices her
They exchange rings, and are officially engaged
Both are sitting next to each other, but not talking because neither want to get married
Sha: hey bhabhi u are sitting here
A: looks confused because no one has called her bhabhi before
Sha: come on bhabhi lets dance
A smiles: nahi mujhe dance nehi karna aatha
Mahi comes over and sits next to Aastha
M: what lies, u dance very well
A: haan Mahi but I don't feel like dancing
M: fine di, I wont pesture u anymore, jiju why don't u come and dance with us
Shu: no im fine, u guys go
Sha: understand mahi-ji my brother wants to be alone with bhabhi, (winks) right bhai
Shu: no its nothing like that
M: don't worry jiju we understand
And Mahi and Shabd leave , and Aastha and Shubh are just sitting there awkwardly again
Pretty soon Shubh and his family leave and Aastha retires to her room, but before sleeping she starts to think about Shubh and how it didn't seem like he wanted to get married either, she decides that she should tell him tomorrow that she's only doing this for her father

the wedding is going to go by really fast, because its not really going to be about the wedding
