America is making merry on the big story in India on thanksgiving. The media must have made big bucks at India's expense.
Am here in san diego caring for someone with a broken foot.
Happy thanksgiving y'all.
All it means is that every family does it's best to get together, no matter how hard it is. And they eat a meal together at the dinner table and thank god for that one meal.
Kavita might have made merry posting all those thanksgiving recipes.

While I give thanks for this good life that we are having, and for the new and caring friends that I have in this forum, I am saddened by the news from Mumbai, so the festive atmosphere is somewhat tempered by this thought that many families are still waiting for news of their loved ones. We talked to someone last night who said he could see the Oberoi hotel from his bedroom window and he could see flames even at that time. He said that all of mumbai was tensed and scared. I can only pray that the terrorists are caught or killed quickly and soon.
