Suraj was still standing by the phone smiling thinking that he is getting a chance to go back to India after such a long time. He shakes his head as he thinks that he can't believe that sagar is getting married and also the fact that he was about fourteen when he last saw sagar. He starts walking when he hears his mom calling out to him. He stops and looks back and says "you are home mom?" His mom looks confused and says "yeah! Where would I go?" Suraj smiles as he looks excited and was about to tell his mom that sagar is getting married. But as soon as he opens his mouth to say something he stops as he remembers the promise he made to sagar's dad that he will not tell his mom. He smiles and stops as his mom looks more confused now. She shakes her head as she keeps looking at him and says "there you go again! Getting lost in your thoughts again…I wonder what goes on in that big stupid head of yours!" Suraj gives his mom an angry look and was about to say something when she cuts him off and asks "what are you doing here anyway?" Suraj as he crosses his arms in anger says "kyun? Can't I come to visit you guys just like that?" His mom as she starts walking away from him says "yeah!! But ever since you went to college and then got into that stupid medical school you never came to visit us without a reason…so I am sure there must be a reason that you came today!" Suraj smiles as he walks behind his mom into the kitchen and sees her trying to cook something. He goes and stands next to her and keeps looking at her as she is trying to ignore Suraj as she is busy cutting something. Suraj smiles and says "Mom why do you get angry so quickly?" Hearing that she immediately stops doing whatever she was doing and looks up at her son who is way taller than her and says "I only have one son! And ussey bhi I get to see on rare occasions!" Suraj sees that she is getting very emotional but keeps quiet as his mother keeps talking. She as she goes back to cutting says "I don't ask for much do I? Your dad is happy bragging to everyone that his son is a big doctor in a big hospital!! But all I want is to see you settle down!!" Suraj hearing that rolls his eyes and says "here we go again!!"
His mom hearing that gets angry and says "All I want is a nice Indian bahu to come into this house that will give me pretty grandchildren and carry out our culture and roots even in the pardes country!" Suraj smiles and says "mom let that topic go!!" he looks at his watch and says "when is dad getting home?" His mom hearing that says "I knew it!! You came to see your dad and not me!" Suraj smiles and hugs her as she still looks angry and says "cool down mom!! I love you and of course I came to see you!" She pushes him away and goes back to work as suraj smiles and says "waisey Raghav uncle called from India. He asked me to tell you to call him back as he has a very important news to tell you" Hearing his name suraj's mom's expression changes and she says "what does that idiot want!" Suraj smiles and says "call him and find out!! I am leaving!! I have to go somewhere" Suraj hugs his mom and starts waking away as his mom from the back shouts asking hi to stay for dinner at least now that he is there. But Suraj doesn't stop and keeps walking and leaves as she stands there wondering what sagar's dad wants.
The scene switches and Sagar and Vidya are shown sitting in their living room with is parents. Sagar's mom is still asking vidya all kind of questions to find out who she is. She was busy talking to vidya when sagar tries to grab one of the bags his mom brought. She sees sagar trying to open the bag because he knows he will find something to eat in there. She smiles and says "amrood's hain uss main!" As soon as vidya hears that she smiles in excitement says "amrood's?" As soon as sagar's mom hears that she looks at vidya immediately and recognizes her and remembers that she is the girl who came to steal amrood's from her house. She keeps looking at vidya in surprise and then looks at sagar and says "yeh amrood wali hai na?" Sagar immediately looks at his mom and then vidya as vidya bites her tongue. Sagar laughs and says "yeah maa!! Amrood wale ki biwi amrood wali nahin ho gi toh aur kaoun ho gi?" Vidya hearing that laughs as sagar's parents both look confused. Sagar's mom smiles and says "accha toh tab se yeh sab kucch chal raha tha aur mujhey habar bhi nahin!!" Vidya looks embarrassed as sagar smiles and his dad looking at them says "Well woman at least you got to see her when she came to our house I even missed that!!" he then shifts his attention to vidya and says "Waisey if I was home when you came to steal amroods you wouldn't need to steal I would have given you all the amroods myself!" Vidya hearing that laughs as she looks at sagar as sagar's mom now gets angry because she is feeling left out because once again English is being spoken.
She calls out to sagar and tells him that he should talk to his boss and get some days off and come to the village as they will plan sagar and vidya's wadding again. Vidya blushes at hearing that as sagar now tells his mom that he can't ask for a leave because his work load is way too high these days. Sagar's parents hearing that don't look too happy. Sagar's mom gets angry and tells him that he is going to need to take days off and come to the village before the wedding. Sagar rolls his eyes and tries to tell his dad the whole thing so he can convince his mom. But sagar's mom as she gets all emotional; starts talking about how she wasn't there at her sons wedding and now her son doesn't even care about how she feels. Sagar rolls his eyes and keeps looking at his mom as she now taunts him that he didn't even let her pick her bahu. Vidya sees that the mother and son are about to get into an argument so she gets up from there picking up the glasses that are on the table in front of them so she can take them to the kitchen. She leaves as sagar's mom still keeps making remarks about how sagar and vidya won't tell them how they actually got married. Sagar in anger laughs and tells his mom that that there is nothing to tell. But his mom won't stop until she hears the phone ringing. Sagar's dad seeing that looks excited and says to sagar "it must be your maasi!" Sagar gets up from there and walks upstairs in anger without saying anything as his mom sits at the same spot with a grumpy face.
Sagar's dad picks up the phone and says hello in a very proud way. Suraj's mom on the other end says "you called?"
Sagar's dad: yes I did!
Suraj's mom: accha toh ab bako!
Sagar's dad gets angry and says "hey watch it!" Suraj's mom laughs and says "start talking and stop wasting my precious time" Hearing that sagar's dad gets angry and was about to say something smart but then stops and says "waisey I wanted you to be the first one I invited…so start packing to come to India!" Suraj's mom looks confused and asks what for. So he smiles and says "sagar is getting married!" suraj's mom hearing that looks shocked first and then smiles and says "hai!! My sagar has grown so much huh?..he is getting married? That is such good news!!" Sagar's dad hearing that clears his throat and says "yeah! But when is suraj getting married I thought you said that he would get married and would have kids before sagar even found a girl!" Suraj mom hearing that makes a grumpy face as she rolls her eyes and thinks "now I get it why he called!" She clears her throat and says "you don't need to worry! We have started looking for a girl but we can't find a girl to match the great qualities Suraj has! You know he is just too good!!" Sagar's dad laughs and says "yeah sure!! Bring you perfect son with you when you come maybe he will find a perfect girl here!" he laughs and hangs up on her as she looks angry now and is calling him all kind of names.
After sagar's dad hangs up he looks to the other side and sees his wife lost in her thoughts. He calls out to her and she starts talking and says that she is really worried about why sagar is not telling them anything about the girl and how they got married. Sagar's dad looks confused and asks her to be clear. So she sighs and tells him that the girl (Vidya) said nothing about her parents yet and what kind of parents must she have that they got their daughter married to a boy without even consulting his parents. Vidya who was coming back to the living room stops as she hears the mention of her parents. She stands by the door as she is dumbfounded and has no idea what to do. Just then she hears sagar's mom talking again and she says that now she is getting the feeling that the girl ran away and got married. Sagar's dad hearing that raises his eyebrow. Vidya outside looks like she is really hurt and is about to start crying after hearing what sagar's mom said. But sagar's mom doesn't stop there and says that what kind of home the girl must come from if she ran away form home and got married without her parent's permission. Vidya hearing that has tears in her eyes as she now covers her mouth and tries to run towards the kitchen but as soon as she turns around she bumps into sagar who was coming down stairs. He looks confused but then looks shocked as he sees tears in vidya's eyes. He immediately asks her what is wrong but vidya as she wipes her tears says "nothing!" and then runs to the kitchen as sagar stands there thinking what must have happened and then he walks into the living room to ask his parents what they said to vidya that she started crying.
