oh please Madhubala wasn't even that pretty. She isn't a measure for beauty. She always had 5 pounds of makeup and black and white and old film images made women look elegant and retro. In some scenes in MEA, she had acne and her skin was horrible.
Also if they had the same technology we have now, her flaws would be magnified in the camera.
If Madhubala was an aspiring actress now, she would have been just another starlet.
In retrospect things look better than what they really are.
