Big bucks and stardom go hand in hand. If drawing huge salaries for movies and endorsements wasn't enough, stars don't mind that additional bit of income that comes from performing on stage shows.

One of Bollywood's hottest sensations, Bipasha Basu, too, appears to have joined this money-minting bandwagon.The actress has been, reportedly, paid a stunning Rs 1.5 crore to perform for a mere 15 minutes on New Year's eve at Mumbai's Sahara Star Hotel. How wild is that?

Previously, fellow Bengali beauties Koena Mitra and Tanushree Dutt alongwith singer Mika lend in glamour with their characteristic jhatkas for a year-end special at Sahara Star.

Dancing on year-end events is nothing new for Bips. Last year, the star performed at the suburban J W Marriott. This time around, Race rival Katrina Kaif is slated to do the same

And though there's no doubting their popularity, do you think it's worth this kind of money?

While Bipasha is bound to agree, her once-upon-a-time nemesis, Kareena Kapoor, tells a publication, 'I had been offered lots of money to perform for New Year's Eve but I have refused them as I think it's tacky.'

Speaking of dance, Bipasha has quite a few chartbusters in her kitty to groove around. Be it the rustic Beedi or spunky Lucky Boy.

2008 struck a fabulous note with Bipasha. Both her biggies Race and Bachna Ae Haseeno brought her acclaim as well as clicked at the box-office.

The Dhoom 2 girl is currently filming Parzania filmmaker, Rahul Dholakia's Kashmir-themed Lamhaa opposite Sanjay Dutt and Kunal Kapoor. She's also believed to play a offbeat role in Sanjay Gupta's Pankh.

Whopping earnings aside, what else could be in store for the actress, who turns 30 next year? Marriage to actor John Abraham? Perhaps, an award or two? Watch this space.

Shes a good dancer and my policy is if people are willing to pay you that much then you are worth that much so bipasha is lol
