Most of the time, Aamir Khan manages to get away with rubbing people the wrong way under the excuse of being a perfectionist. While most do not object to his authoritarian ways, it has left Ghajini actress Asin baffled. Consequently, Asin has raised an objection as she couldn't take Aamir's strict terms and conditions while working with him in their forthcoming film, Ghajini.

Asin is fed-up as she has been forced to follow Aamir's strict rules for almost two years now. A source close to Aamir said, "Although Asin is extremely fond of Aamir, she had an argument with him recently. It all stemmed from the fact that Aamir has stopped her from interacting with the media, making public appearances or attending any events.

Asin has been getting a lot of attention as she has a meaty role in Ghajini and she has also signed the ambitious London Dreams opposite Salman Khan. But Asin isn't happy even though her career is going great guns as she had to turn down all offers of interacting with the media- a necessary step in self-promotion for any newcomer."

"Although she is part of some big banners now, very little is known about her. To make matters worse, the Ghajini team has also told Asin that she shouldn't give her portfolio pictures to anyone. All this is making her feel restricted," added the source.

That's when Asin decided to take things in hand and had a serious discussion with Aamir. She told Aamir that the restrictions on her should be eased as she has been meeting a lot of big filmmakers and needs to move on.

"It has been almost two years that she has been under the contract with Aamir as Ghajini had to be postponed due to Aamir's injury and several other problems," said the source.

And how did Aamir take to Asin's demand? "Needless to say, Aamir was very surprised," added the source.
When contacted, Asin curtly said, "I cannot speak about this as we have been told not to speak to the press."

However, Ghajini producer, Madhu Varma confirmed the news and said, "It is true. We had requested all the actors of Ghajini not to speak about the film. Since this is Asin's first Hindi film, the restriction is particularly important in her case."

Asin's trying to make it quick in bollywood...U cant blame her if she's angry;how can Aamr stop her from doing more movies when she's being offered big ones?

There is quality like none else in Amir's movies. Just check out taare zameen par, the last. They are rare, and endear every viewer to his movies.

I feel sorry for Asin. Oh come one, this pic is not Aamir's own creativity like Lagaan. He copied from tamil movie and might want to perfect it. 2 years to do that! That is bit over too much. The least he could have done, when he was hurt or the pic is delayed, allowed Asin to act in any other movies except Hindi and that would be fair enough.

Ghajini's promos are being airred frequently now......I wonder why nobody bothered to tell Murugadoss tht songs which have the hero showing off his bare chest standing in the middle of a desert with his arms wide open for the heroine, singing songs tht describe his feelings for her, with hr running in the brackground went away with Anil -kapoor Juhi Chawla times? They don't do tht in bollywood any more....wht's Murugadoss trying to do, revamp the old times? I went through the B'wood forums, most ppl seem to find Ghajni promos mediocre....all seem to prefer SRK's Rab Ne Banadi Jodi instead!😕
