What creatives are doing during their vacation

I was thinking about what creatives do when not doing what they do best....still don't know?



Here's a list of things I think they could be doing, all in good fun. Tack more on if you have them.

Don't take offense.


1. Reflectively thinking about the direction of the show and how to make it stronger. Addressing "concerns."



2. Pouring over hate / love mail for ideas and feedback.



3. Looking at what is going on the forums, like ours truly.



4. Showing up to meetings hang-over evident and 1 hour late and unwashed.



5. Holding "meetings" in bars/lounges--you know, to collect feedback!



6. Leaving a message at HQ saying "call me when you need me. I'm going on a Masala cruise."



7. Attending English/literature / writing class to fan the flames of creativity.



8. Talking with people around town--cafes and snack carts--about shows and what they'd like to see.



9. Going to find themselves...and the show....somewhere.



10. Popping the cork of a wine bottle or two to get those creative juices going. And thinking: "was it right to show a rape victim as a homewrecker?" I think it might be a tad distasteful, not to mention stupid.
