Rahul kicked out: Is it a stunt?

After fleeing from Bigg Boss house, Rahul Mahajan was kicked out from the show on Tuesday morning.

It was unclear whether this was a stunt and whether the show would take him back eventually. Rahul had refused to apologise for attempting to escape, along with the other inmates, from the isolated set in Lonavla, near Mumbai.
Rahul is the favourite to win the show, according to many reports. After the elimination of gangster's moll Monica Bedi, only men remained in the house: Rahul, Raja Chaudhary, Ashutosh and Zulfi Syed. They attempted to break out of the house, the show said, at 8 pm on Saturday.

Monday's episode showed the 'escape' which was triggered after the boys complained that some ingredients were not to be found. They were however 'caught' by the Bigg Boss van.

At around 12:30 am on Monday when Raja and Zulfi were deep in sleep, the cameras captured Rahul and Ashutosh discussing how they convinced Raja and Zulfi to flee from the house, their plans and how it was justified.

'Big Boss' asked them to apologise which all did except for Rahul. He asked to be evicted with whatever amount he deserved to get for 90 days, saying he didn't feel like staying on longer.

'Rahul was the jaan of Bigg Boss'

Former Bigg Boss housemate Debojit Saha was shocked to hear about Rahul Mahajan's ouster from the Bigg Boss house.

"Rahul should have stayed till the finals," he says. "If he has been evicted, then it is every unfortunate because he is the jaan of Bigg Boss. He is a lively person and a big entertainer in the house."

Rahul was evicted because he did not apologise for his behaviour last week when the remaining four housemates -- including Raja Chaudhury, Zulfi Sayed and Ashutosh Kaushik -- tried to escape from the house. While the three apologised, Rahul refused.

Asked whether it was right to evict Rahul when the finale is just five days away, Debojit replied, "I can't comment on that. Living in the Bigg Boss house for 90 days is not a joke. Singing was a stress buster for me in the house. Saturday's incident could have been avoided, but this is bound to happen when there is lot of stress and frustration."

So who does he think will win Bigg Boss? "Zulfi Sayed. He played his cards very smartly right from the start," Debojit says.

Is Rahul Mahajan out of 'Bigg Boss' house?
https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/
Rumours are rife that Rahul Mahajan, one of the strongest contenders on reality show "Bigg Boss", has been asked to leave after he refused to

apologise for fleeing the house with three other inmates.

The rumour came to surface Tuesday morning, after Rahul jumped out of the "Bigg Boss" house along with the other existing participants - Raja Chaudhary, Zulfi Syed and Ashutosh Kaushik. It was shown on Monday's episode.

The four men requested "Bigg Boss" organisers to send them a pre-cooked or ready-to-eat meal. When their request wasn't met, they protested by escaping from the "Bigg Boss" house.

The prime rule of the "Bigg Boss" house is that no contestant can leave the house and the four contestants broke that rule. They protested when just six days before the grand finale where the winner will get prize money of Rs.10 million.

According to television reports, while the others apologised for breaking the rule, Rahul said that he won't say sorry because he wasn't guilty for what he did. As a result he was asked to leave the show.

As of now, the channel is not ready to confirm or deny the news. A spokesperson of Endemol India, the production house of the reality show, said that an official press statement would be released later in the day.

Former participant Monica Bedi, who was evicted out of the show last week, told IANS: "I believe Rahul has been evicted, but I am not 100 percent sure as I have only heard it from the media. I have not yet been told by the production house or any reliable source."

Monica, who shared a close relationship with Rahul on the show, conjectured that the four men might have jumped off the wall due to mental pressure and lack of food.

"Rahul had lost almost eight kilograms till I was there. It is very tough to stay there without food. So I am sure they tried to flee to get something to eat. Otherwise, Rahul is such a patient person," she said.

It has been more than three months now since these men were locked inside the "Bigg Boss" house under 24-hour camera surveillance.

Tuesday, November 18, 2008 (New Delhi)

Rahul Mahajan was voted out of reality TV show Bigg Boss after he refused to apologise to Bigg Boss on Monday night.

Reports say the production team had stopped the four contestants Raja Chaudhury, Zulfi Sayed, Aushutosh and Rahul Mahajan from escaping the sets.

After the incident Bigg Boss had demanded an apology from the four guys. While the other three apologised, Rahul refused to do so as a result he was evicted.

"Rahul will not be seen in Bigg Boss anymore as he broke the laws," say unconfirmed sources.

Reports are that a lot of money has been placed on Rahul Mahajan in the market as many traders felt his chances of winning Bigg Boss were the highest.
