Her second coming in the reality show Bigg Boss gave birth to a lot of speculation.
The viewers had a ball of a time as the love triangle involving Rahul Mahajan, Monica Bedi and Payal Rohatgi unfolded a different tale every single day. Now that Monica has been finally voted out of the show, she gets candid about her relationship with Rahul and her forthcoming projects in a rendezvous with BT. 'Satta kings proved to be my undoing' A slightly exasperated Monica rues the fact that she lost "even after coming so close to winning." In the same breath, she adds, "There are a lot of people who have told me that satta kings proved to be my undoing because they were heavily voting for their own candidates. Anyways, I am glad that I am no longer a part of this betting scenario though I enjoyed my stint on the show." 'Rahul's mad, but not bad' There's no denying that Monica had quite a few reasons to enjoy the show — the undivided attention of an ardent admirer like Rahul Mahajan for starters. Rag her about this and Monica says, "Rahul's mad, but not bad. I know that his feelings are genuine. He really cares for me and wants marriage or a lifelong relationship. It takes lots of guts to voice your feelings on national television and I admire him for this." So, where do the two go from here? Monica pertly dons a diplomatic tone and says, "We met on a reality show where we were facing 34 cameras 24x7. We couldn't talk properly on serious issues; there are a lot of things, which have to be discussed. I have a past and I can't afford to commit another mistake in life. Also, I have bagged two reality shows and a film recently. I will be signing another film soon. In both the flicks, I am playing the main lead. Right now, I want to do some good work and start afresh in the film industry. So, I am not in a hurry when it comes to matters of the heart." The curtain call Ask her if she's looking forward to meeting all the fellow housemates in the grand finale, especially Diana Hayden with whom she had a major panga and Monica immediately perks up. "I don't know what's her problem yaar! She would jump into any argument and go on till the other person was rattled. When I couldn't take it, I ticked her off. Later, I apologised, but she wasn't ready to see my point of view. Maybe, I will get to clear the misunderstanding in the finale," she says. Vinita Chaturvedi |
