Mumbai's foodies and celebs to salute chefs, restaurateurs, bartenders at culinary event

As they say in showbiz, tonight is the night. You may hold your film premieres at the suburban multiplexes. Our Oscars of Food Awards ' the Times Food and Nightlife Awards 2008-09, are being held at the ITC Grand Central in Parel. And that's where the stars will descend this evening. To give away awards; to sample the exotic dinner laid out by 30 of Mumbai's best restaurants; to perhaps wine and dance; and, to come close to the real stars of the culinary world ' Mumbai's celeb chefs, wicked bartenders and flamboyant restaurateurs, the people being honoured by The Times of India for making life a celebration of the tastebuds. Salman Khan will be there, he's a gourmet, he can sniff his ammi's fingers and tell when she's made a biryani. And Kajol and Ajay Devgun. Likewise John Abraham, but dressed up ' please, like one of the refreshing low-cal salads of the evening. And a whole lot of other foodies from Bollywood and Tellyland with adventurous tastesbuds, some of the
hotties and lovelies being finger-licking good themselves! Count Imran Khan, Shriya Saran, Manisha Koirala, Subhash Ghai, Mahima Choudhary, Mandira Bedi, Chetan Hansraj, Vikas Bhalla,prachi desai , Mona Singh among them.
