While rumours were ripe that if channels were to start telecasting reruns, the advertisers would start pulling out, Sam Balsara, one of the advertisers, told us, "Advertising Agencies Association of India and the Indian Society of Advertisers agreed that this is the time to show our solidarity with our friends in the broadcasting community. We have advised our members not to cancel bookings or ask for price reduction for the next eight days.
