I have to disagree with this.I had been more active that time in the forum because those incidents were quite unfortunate that I wanted to be here at the forum in the company of those who felt the same.If i remember well,no one enjoyed those things. None enjoys murders,rapes or killing children.I was one among those who complained that time,and I am sure many did the same.None on the forum actually enjoyed crimes!

Surely, you can't be that naive. There are many people in this world, you don't know every one personally. We tend to believe what we want to believe.

I remember that one person wanted to strangle me to death because I expressed a negative opinion. Is that person is not violent?? People don masks all the time, they are not what they seem! If every one is fine and dandy on the forum or in this world, then we will have UTOPIA...don't you think? You live in the US, you have seen kids getting killed, abducted on the television, you have seen women getting befriended and raped or murdered - Forum is just a sampling of the real world. And I am sure adultery can not happen unless there are people who are indulging in them willingly...

It's true that those things are not "OUR" cup of tea but it surely could be some one else's cup of tea, right? There is definitely precedence to such things.

When I look at the TRPs, I never compare the TRPs of the past and present of any serial. I just look at the present because I know that various factors have changed along the way. A 2+ now, may be equatable to a 3+ of the past, again it depends on the time frame a serial has been running, the competition then and now and various other factors. Actually, one doesn't need business intelligence or experience with decision support to know this, I think that its common knowledge! Anyone who says that the TRPs are better now than before, or attribute it to one person or persons/factor are mostly doing it to start a "debate" on the forum and sure enough, even members who are now not active in the KS forum come and post their comments!

I wasn't even the one who mentioned TRPs. But since they were mentioned I said that the magic wand of TRPs are only trying to trick people who are impressionable into believing that KS is better now than before (various times)

But some things that need to be said - Most of the people who participate in these views are like me, people who at one time were loyal fans. I don't have anything against the people who are still loyal to KS.

I just take exception to the fact when people start comparisons of that it is better now and then attribute the success or TRPs to factors that are irrelevant.

I am not the one who bitterly fights whether Gurdeep's coming into the picture made the show better. The fact is PD was dealt with bad story, bad writers and dialogues. She did fine in the beginning, she was angry, she was pleasant, she was romantic, she was strong when she stood against Ranveer and Jigyasa. Don't forget the fact that she won multiple awards (If TRPs are brought as a scale to rate a show, I think awards should be brought up to rate an actress) - The latest news is that she won the Cosmopolitan Fun Fearless Awards for Females, in television section. So the girl can stand by her own merit.

The simple reason people put her down, or KS from the past is to make viewers who passively are on the sidelines to protest -

Some people who are against PD have their own reasons which are personal (The venom is directed against her for outside reasons that are purely judgemental and holier than thou) - some people who are against RK have their own reasons which are personal.

Coming back to the post Shazia made, I am just agreeing that people are generally happy when families are happy, so what is there for the viewers to protest if a family is finally getting together and a murderer and a venomous sister are punished?
