The drama is about two friends from very different backgrounds. Vikramaditya used to be a zamindar while Balwant, a farmer. They were very popular in the village. But like all things wonderful that come to an end, their friendship also falls apart due to some misunderstanding. They become enemies for life. Later, the story follows the love that blossoms between their respective grandchildren, Yugandhar and Vrinda.

Thursday: Vrinda has been categorically instructed by Parminder to wait at the temple. She meets Geetika who is all set to elope with Nihar. Vrinda discourages her from running away with Nihar as she sees that he is being beaten up by some thugs. Vrinda is worried that they might kill Geetika if they find her with him. Yug reaches the temple and is shocked to find Nihar with a bleeding head. He wants to know what had happened but Nihar does not want to divulge that he had been beaten up by goons.
