Disrespectful Asma

How many of you agree ?
Asma is getting on my nerves. Same jokes, same fake innocence. This is not remotely funny now when she exhibits disrespect to mentors and well respected guests. It is no longer possible to reason that she does not mean disrespect when she says "tu bol' yahaan aa" etc. She has been here for quite few weeks now and Himesh infact rebuked her mildly and asked her to speak properly. As Salman also pointed out she has no problem in singing Hindi songs with proper diction and she must make extra effort to learn how t speak and learn little bit of culture here.

At times she is downright disrespectful as in with Katrina when she commented that "Woh kya muze Hindi sikayagi ?" I dont mind her gimmicks with Oont ko danda kyon maara etc.. but she must speak with respect. I am not sure if Abhishek a little serious person and reserved person appreciated her babbles as well as it was eveident few times from his expressions but its very difficult to say anything when you are there for promo.

But I think mentors should start correcting her... Can you imagine if she ekes out similar drivel infront of Amjad Ali Khan, Jagjit SIngh etc.. Its high time she should be restrained from going overboard. You are in India, Indians are voting for you..Pls show respect to voters and show some inclination to adapt to Indian ways.

I think you are taking her too seriously. The reason her Hindi is not corrected is because SRGMP needs TRPs. Her jokes might annoy you, and that's fine, but I don't think you should feel any disrespect from her side. In fact, its sad that SRGMP has made a gimmick out of her.

Why don't you chill, laugh at her jokes, and understand that SRGMP is not about singing anymore, its about Himesh Reshamiya's hair! How much hairspray do you think he uses? 😆😆

Plus, there are so many wonderful topics on the forum open having such historical and patriotic discussions, why worry about Asma?

Ya, I felt exactly the same way.....When she said to Katrina, "Woh kya hindi sikhayegi", u could clearly see that Katrina was kinda embarassed and dat's why she told Salman to stop....
It's ok if Asma's tactics are for fun but she/Zee needs to make sure that it remains limited to fun only and not cause any disrespect to anyone......

arrey it was just coz her hindi is not good she speaks this way i use to enjoy her jokes but now i feel zee is using her just to entertain audience and to raise trps thts it. i feel sorry for her.😔

I think that line "woh kya hindi sikhayegi" was really rude...I think such a statement would be disrespectful in any culture or language....I felt bad for Katrina....I can understand Salman pulling her leg, but who is Asma to behave so rudely with guests....that being said, she was funny with the rest of evening...I just didn't like that part!

I think she was a lot of fun in that episode. And if any of those celebrities disliked it they wouldn't be laughing so much or interacting with her so much.

Asma said, "woh kya mujhey hindi sikhayegi. woh becharee toh khud script padh ker dialogue bolti hai" to which katrina agreed. I don't think any desrespect was meant there and I did not see any taken by Katrina either. It was all in fun. I think we are reading too much into Asma's lines.

heyyy man u dont like her than all i gotta say shut ur god dam tv off when she commes idk u ur talking about her like that u know there is hecka ppl oout whose hindi is not that good uhmm u looking at one right now i bet even if i tryed to speak hindi i would spaeak like that too she just tryin to have fun and she is not fake at all and u da u b gettin on mah nerves ya digggazzz
