Besides Agnivesh's (Madhur Arora) murder mystery twist and Trishul (Akashdeep Saigal) landing up in jail, there is the on-going tussle between Kkusum and husband Abhay (Anuj Saxena) over their relationship with Trishul.
The daily serial had Kkusum's daughter Kumud (Aashka Goradia) with a dead Agnivesh. Trishul springs to her rescue and takes the blame. While everyone wonders why Trishul is extending a helping hand, it will be left to Garv (Chetan Hansraj) to prove that Agnivesh is not dead in a legal battle.
"The move in the track is to shock the viewer. Whenever anything unexpected happens, viewers get a jolt," says producer Ekta Kapoor.
As Kkusum (Manasi) puts it, "There is that element of thrill in the track now which focusses on Trishul, Abhay and Kkusum. Abhay is firm in his belief that Trishul is up to some mischief. Kkusum, on the other hand, stands up for Trishul. Kkusum, in all her simplicity, develops a fondness for Trishul."
The recent entries of Taashu (Narayani Shastri) and Trishul, besides Vidhi (Mouli Ganguly)have added to the twists.
Abhay (Anuj Saxena) says, "The storyline is gripping. There are a lot of surprises in the show to create curiosity among viewers. My three children (Kumud, Kali and Trishul) and two wives (Taashu and Kkusum) keep up the spice.
The highlight is going to be my relationship with Trishul and Taashu. The mystery element will continue with regards to Abhay.
He will be blamed for a lot of things but it will not be revealed why Abhay is up to all this."
Interestingly, later this month, the Kkusum action shifts to Malaysia. "This schedule will have so many twists that Kkusum will be on an overdrive," adds Kapoor.
Balaji's other daily, Kasuati Zindagi Kay, is also being shot in Malaysia from next week.
