Rajat and Mugdha - An ode to my favourites

Warning – This topic is in appreciation of two of my favourite actors and I should warn you its very boring. I can already predict that a few of you will be gritting your teeth in anger 😕 if you manage to read this whole statement🥱. But I hope you'll just ignore me and laugh off my idiotic topic 😃 as that of someone who has joined this forum recently and has a lot of silly observations and feelings to share😳.

If you are still reading this....I assume you are as bored as I am right now🥱....its evening and I'm in no mood for work 😉 so just typing down some random thoughts about Rajat ⭐️ and Mugdha ⭐️

My knowledge and experience of acting is limited to school - when I would act surprised 😲 and then sorry when asked to submit my homework😉😆. So I am not qualified to comment on anyone's acting skills. All I know is that I have never felt empathy for characters in any other show, before I met Prithviraj, Sanyogita, Veer and Shera⭐️⭐️.

I know Rajat and Mugdha's portrayals of Prithvi and Sanyo were their interpretations of the characters but they at least had a historical reference to fall back on. In fact, some times I used to think part of the charm of their amazing portrayal of this love story was that we knew this partly fabricated love story was true🤓.

But they shattered this belief of mine with their depictions of Veer and Shera👏. How on earth did they manage to make us fall in love with their characters individually and as a jodi once again. Neither did they as actors have reference to rely on nor did we as viewers have any historical foundation to base our admiration on. Two absolutely fictional characters, two diametrically opposite roles, all fictional situations and quite many badly written scenes and dialogues. Cute, adorable and shy Prithvi 😍 became smart, lovable and suave Veer😍; sweet, innocent, helpless Sanyogita 😍 became tough, worldly wise and daredevil Shera😍.....

............and we still fell for them like a ton of bricks☺️.

How did Veer-Shera 😍 drive us as crazy as Prithvi-Sanyo 😍 even though they hardly had any truly romantic scenes 😔, except maybe in the last few days😍😍😍. How did they make us happy with their awesome chemistry 😍, even when they were simply looking at each other or holding hands 😳😍. In the end, even those who were not very sure of the combination in the beginning fell in love with this pair👏.

Today, for me, Prithvi and Veer are two entirely different characters, as are Sanyogita and Shera. And this isn't extra sugar in my tea talking😛. I was watching a few old PRC episodes some months back and I realized that when I was watching Prithvi and Sanyo, Veer and Shera didn't enter my mind at all...and that evening when I was watching Veer and Shera, Prithvi and Sanyo were as far away as on another continent.

How did they create such a clear cut split between characters which they played within a gap of just a couple of months😲👏. How did they transform their body language, expressions, dialogue delivery - in fact all aspects of themselves – on an individual basis and as a couple...so effectively and thoroughly😎...that today both their roles occupy totally independent places in the hearts of viewers👏

The only possible explanation is that these two are to the screen born👍🏼. They are as destined to be in front of the camera and to become famous😳, as I am fated to be beaten up by my mom for not studying for my exam on Sunday😆.

So here is to Rajat and Mughda👏👏...raise your glasses people....glass mein chahe jo bhi ho😆…..to two actors beyond compare👏👏...who won our hearts individually and jointly😍😍😍...and on a personal basis, gave me the chance to pass my time so nicely on one boring evening 😆

(My God, this post has become so long. I hope u all will forgive me for wasting your time with this, but it was either this or knowledge-enhancing reading🤢 😆)

my darling neha...u r right about some people having that view. But there is a reason I didn't mention it in my loooong post, and no, its not because my post would become longer😆😆. I didn't mention it because if I put that in, it would sound like I have something to defend, which I don't. I can fight and argue that I have never found one bit of vulgarity in their romance, that the falling and catching routine may be unimaginative but is positively harmless and innocent, that both the actors are themselves too dignified to stoop to any kind of vulgarity..but doing that would mean giving too much importance to views that doesn't deserve that kind of attention. I would rather talk about my likes with people who understand, appreciate and share them😳....people like you😳😳⭐️
