I am in tears! I can't recall the the last time I was in tears out of happiness but I am so happy. This is history and I have just lived it. After weeks of putting my life and soul into this election I feel everything paid off. I want to cry and scream out of joy. I have heard lots of thing about this election but this one touched me the most. So I will share it...
" After today on no black grandmother or mother will look at their children and say no you can't. From today on you can do everything."
He did it. We did it. Now hopefully we can work together and heal this country. Return it to its days of glory.
Have a good night guys!!

A HUGE CONGRADULATION TO OUR NEW PRESIDENT

Hi Perfangel5655
You would certainly not know me. I am a silent reader on this forum, and admittedly an irregular one. I watch Kasturi and used to update it at a time.
But you and another member, gp00, are the reason I got hooked to Vivaah in the first place. I mostly dont watch the eppys, just read about them.😊
For I find your and her views (though they are many times conflicting) to be very mature, realistic and refreshing😳; particularly each of your individual thoughts on Tanya, Raj and Trishna.
Anyways, the reason why I am writing today is that I have read your views on Obama in your updates. Today, I was keenly following CNN for the results. And one of the people whom I thought of after the stupendous news was you.😳 Even though I dont know you, I felt like communicating to you and expressing my best wishes and joy.😊
Congratulations to Barack ObamašŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘, and to all of youšŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘......and I can fully understand the sentiment.
I am not an American ........But as a global citizen, I realise the importance of this election. Trust me, most people where I live were excited (some perhaps nervous, depending on the stakes) about today. Because whoever leads America, and especially so in this environment of economic crisis and strife, is going to impact the world; the degree of impact may differ.
I wish the newly elected President Obama the best and hope that this is indeed just the beginning of a better future. The times are tough; but with the right intent, hopefully, America will deal with its internal crisis.
I have to say that I was also impressed with the decorum and magnaminity shown by both McCain and Obama in acknowledging each other in their accede-victory and victory speeches respectively.
Would like to leave this with.......
Change has come to America.......😳
and to the world.😳
Warm regards
JW
