part 1:
ba tells the bahus to leave the kitchen. the guys are cooking. kyunki remix theme plays. mihir comes. karan asks mihir what should they do. gautam says they are stuck here and dont know anything. sahil tells mihir to do something or the women will cut them up. mihir tells them to cut the vegetables. ba has a flashback of when savita instructs the men before the 20 year leap. tulsi sees ba thinking and consoles her.
nandini is on a stool putting a picture on the wall. karan comes, picks her up and asks her what she is doing. ba comes and tells karan to leave and playfully hits him with her cane. karan tries to explain nandini couldnt reach so he was helping. he leaves. ba says he is very happy and so is she. nandini gets sad. ba asks what is wrong. she makes nandini sit. nandini says she remembered someone. ba says her son right. nandini says she and karan named him parth, but he went somewhere after birth. ba consoles nandini and says thakur ji will bring him back. ba tells nandini to go with her. they go.
everyone is doing fireworks. vaidehi gets scared and holds on to laksh. laksh shrugs her off and says "no, this hand wont support you, i only came here to celebrate because ba told me to, i am not in your life, whatever you did with my family its hard to forget, the shadow of the past never goes away."laksh walks away while vaidehi is sad.
ba watches everyone, then sees her husband's ghost. he disappears.
horror music plays while ba sleeps. she wakes up and is happy to see her husband. he disappears. ba prays to thakur ji. ba gets up and wakes up tulsi. tulsi wonders what does ba need so late at night.
part 2:
tulsi asks ba if she didnt sleep. ba says its the new year. ba gives a dialogue about life. ba telsl tulsi she wants to go to her old home and spend her first day of the new year there. tulsi asks ba why she is remembering the old home. ba says "thats amba's home that babuji made and my soul is there, my breath is calling me. KN, SG, GD are happy." tulsi says they will talk in the morning. ba says "the boys will wear sherwani, and bahu gujrati chunri, you red sari, etc, i want to see you just as you entered the house,go to bed." ba leaves saying she is tired.
tulsi goes to mihir who is sleeping. tulsi remembers what ba said. tulsi looks around the house for ba and doesnt find her. tulsi hears ba singing dheere dheere sau raha hain. tulsi sees ba making rangoli.
part 3:
tulsi thinks about ba's rangoli and thinks this may be ba's last rangoli. tulsi thinks if she should tell mihir about ba. everyone wishes each other happy new year. ba wishes everyone and says "she wants to go back to the old house". ba tells about her husband saying his soul is in that home and he took his last breath in that house and wants to do the punidity or something. karan and gautam say they will do it there. ba says she is happy her wishes will be fulfilled.
mihir asks tulsi where his coat is. tulsi asks him he is going to office today. mihir is confused and wonders how he forgot he doent go to office why is he forgetting. tulsi says not to worry just to do a CT scan and treat it. they wish each other new year. tulsi wonders if she should tell mihir about ba.
