Yes,Varsha was expected to say it all,and I agree with her.None can match Amanat in reendering this song.Remember,Lataji set the bar so high after singing this Gulzar lyric and Amanat did full justice to it.

Even in US concerts this song by Amanat set the benchmark.At least,HR was there in the last challenge round and he cannot have forgotten Amanat's rendering.He should have given him just Hit.This time around,mentors dont want to diaplease their fellow mentors.

Amanat sang well and I loved it. Debo sang it reasonably too.
But the feel was different as in Amanat's case due to a variety of reasons. Firstly Amanat had been away from Pakistan and his family for a long time and he never had a relative to come and support him. He was in a way lonely. Most of us loved him and could relate to him. The atmosphere was different and many were crying including Amanat.

Technically Soumen was far ahead of Zaheer in this episode. And nobody can sing with feel like Debojit!

For once, concentrate on singing and not regionalism!

I do not think the comments above are targetted against people from any region. Most of the IF members do not care where a singer comes from and judgement is based on performance rather than region. Both Debo and Soumen have their best performances.

can you pls post link for Soumen rendition I would like to hear it again , about Debo I wouldn't change my opinion. And what I said is just my personal opinion this could be wrong, when stalwarts can commit mistake in judging contestant where do I stand.

I agree with most posters here... No one is Reality TV should try to sing this song after amanat... I don't think anyone can beat it

Amanat definitely sang with whole heart. I think if somebody search Tujhse naraz nahi little champ in youtube he can find sameer sang better then debojit. 😊
