where did Sita mata went inside the earth
is it in Ayodhya's Raj Bhavan or Valmiki Ashram...
in earlier Ramayan it was shown in ayodhya's Raj Bhawan and in most of the
movie we see it that it was near valmiki Ashram...
and where is Valmiki ashram i mean which state...of India

The yagnashala was not in Ayodhya city itself, but in Naimishaaranya, on the banks of the Gomatee river

That was where Sita took her vow, as evident from the last statement underlined

At the same time Prithvi split and a throne came out of it. Devee Prithvi was sitting on that throne. Devee lifted Seetaa with Her both hands and the throne went to Rasaatal. Devtaa showered flowers. All public stood without even blinking their eyes in the Yagyashalaa.

Obviously, neither in the Ayodhya court nor in Valmiki's ashram. Good as they are, don't go by the serials.

P.S. Valmiki's ashram was in Chitrakoot, as in the Ayodhya/Aranya kand. However, given that when Shatrughan travelled from Ayodhya to Mathura, he stopped at Valmiki's ashram and did the sanskar for Kush & Luv, it's likely that the ashram fell in between these 2 cities. In short, it's safe to say it's in UP or MP.

actually my confsusion did not arise from serial as such.. but it is said tht Ramji demands the proof again in front of whole praja and if she take her vow in Rajya sabha that is understood but as its hows in many movie that she take the vow near the ashram how will she be in front of whole praja that was a grater confusion....
thanks for the information now my doubts are clear....

You're welcome. Thanks for clarifying, but it's easy to be confused when one sees one thing in the movie and another in the serial. As a kid, I used to get confused seeing differing accounts in different places, and therefore decided to stick to one source. For the Ramayan, it's Valmiki.

In fact, one thing that bugged me - particularly in the cartoon shows of Luv & Kush (there were 2 of them) - was how Sita was depicted as invoking Prithvi Devi just on a whim because she didn't want to be 'further disappointed'. I found this depiction appalling - a wife and a mother doesn't just abandon her family simply because she feels like it, as was so callously depicted there. In those cartoons, they had an upfront disclaimer that the story was not according to either Valmiki or Tulsidas. But given that they didn't show Rama demanding that Sita demonstrating her chastity in front of the prajas after he had been defeated in battle, they could just as easily have continued to stray from the original (as they claimed to be doing anyway) and shown Sita happily return with Rama and her sons to Ayodhya and live happily ever after, giving it a fairy-tale ending that it actually didn't have.

My point - Sita didn't leave on a whim - she left because she was being publicly humiliated by having to demonstrate her chastity. Had she made a plain affirmative declaration and then joined Rama on the throne, the message she'd have sent would have been that it's a good idea to sacrifice ones honor in return for the stature of royalty and privilege, not to mention all the luxuries that came with it - which is the last thing that she'd have wanted. That's why she did what she did. Those who depict her as parting the earth and going because she was 'tired', or 'didn't want to be disappointed any more', are missing the point.

One more thing - Rama did not humiliate his kids by demanding that they prove their parentage, as the original serial depicts. What happened was that at the end of the presentation, he asked them who their parents were, and they told him that Sita was their mother: they didn't tell him anything about their father. Of course, Rama knew then that they were his sons, and desired to get them, but doing so meant that he had to recall Sita (since it was extremely unlikely that Kush & Luv would have agreed to abandon her and join him), and doing that meant that he had to ask her for the shapat. The rest is history.

😆It's clear and obvious that KHMK supporters are jealous of NDTV Ramayan.😆 They can't bear to think that their beloved Ekta's serial is not being loved by everyone as NDTV Ramayan is. I learned long ago not to take it seriously, because it's really funny you know, their meek attempts to defend KHMK.😃

Hey rajnish,

just visited khmk forum to see wut u were talking about....i even replied right after u & rups12 did.....Basically i said that if it makes these ppl happy to spread rumors let them...bc everything is a lie from the start of ekta's khmk to the forums topics or wut not.....& basically that one can only compare something to the BEST, which is obviously our RAMAYAN....and the worst thing comparing itself to our RAMAYAN is KHMK........If nething feel happy that they are even trying to compare themselves to our RAMAYAN!!!!!!!

I think if i remember correctly.... a few weeks ago KHMK was taken off the top 100 (so sad for ekta & her viewers).....& our RAMAYAN as always maintained a position in the top 20....i dont think KHMK can even come close to the top 50...75....85 etc etc, let alone top 20!!!!!
