it doesn't matter whether she's in top 10,9, 7.5, whatever.. top 3 shud be yashita,pratibha and either:
soumen
zaheer
vaishali

tarun and sara are ok 2..
debojit is nothing great
asma isn't good enough.

I think the judges are trying to show good hospitality to her as she comes from a totally different culture and language + music. I dont think they are scared. Remember when Ashaji eliminated her from early rounds and said that she has no sur, none of the judges said a word to support Asma at the time. Shankarji made a diplomatic statement this time, and hats off to him.

As Shankar pointed out, she is the most loved one of all. She does come across as innocent and cute.

It is quite obvious that she had a more sheltered life back home. Now she is getting to be more out-going, which is a concern for her mum.

Do you mean - she is the oonth?! And the public (including the IF folks) are the ones who does and will be doing the "mara"?? 😉 😃

It should be "kisne aur kitne mara"... 😃 😆

"Mere OOnth ko Danda Kisne Mara" is the movie Asma is jokingly working on. She keeps saying that all the judges are going to be in it, and some of the guest judges. 😆😆 I find her very cute and funny, but she's not a good singer, So many good people get voted off because of her!

Robaroo: I can't stop laughing at your comment! 😆😆 I'm 100% when Himesh decides for his next film he wants to be a Director, Actor, Singer, Music Director, and Composer, he'll definately make Asma's dream film a reality! 🤣 "Mere Oonth ko Danda Kisne Mara" coming to a theater near you! 🤣

But on a more serious note, the judges aren't afraid of her. I just think that they realize that she's been raised very sheltered and is very sensitive. I think that they are trying not be real mean to her because they want to slowly introduce her to reality. Shankar did end up saying that Asma is the most loved contestant by the judges and audience, but she is the weakest singer out of the top 10. She has a very cute personality and is very innocent and funny, but she really needs to focus on her singing. It was mean of the other contestants to comment about her like that, but I don't think there was any other way she'd take this competition seriously.

No, I know about her movie story - I have been hearing about it every week on the show. I was asking why robaroo meant by giving that reason for her staying in the show... 😃 I am very much with you regarding the underlined part.

Yes, I agree. I also dont think they are scared but are being good hosts to a foreigner and matured teachers to a student who is over sensitive.
