here is a tip on how to apply lipstick.

to make your lips shiny, put some lip gloss on. but no "pucker" your lips when you have applied them. meaning do nut rub your lips together. (only with the lipgloss)

lip pencils make your lips "pop out" .. lip stick just applies color..

this is just what i think..

If you want more defined lips, then first trace them with a lip pencil in the color of your choice. Then fill in with a matching lipstick. Blot your lips with a piece of tissue to get rid of any excess lipstick. For added shine, apply a dab of Vaseline over it for a nice finish.
Lip color pens are slimmer than lipstick and easier to apply, they are just like pens and also easier to carry than lipstick. They are liquid, whereas lipstick is made from a solid. The pots of lip color in the makeup sets are the same thing, except one applies them with a makeup brush and it takes a bit longer. You can mix the colors of the pots and create your own colors. Other than lip gloss, if you want something colorful and sheer, in other words the gloss effect without the stickiness you can get a sheer lipstick-- it combines the see-through color of gloss, reveals your natural lip color but it's not remotely sticky. Unlike lip gloss, it doesn't come flavored usually. Hope that helps.

i think thats first put the liner on then colour the whole lip using the liner ... next apply lipstick in matching colour ... then next apply lipgloss to make them shiny
this also keeps the colour there longer
heres a video for red lips

Thnks a lot Trina and Madiha!😛
This is one set of lips with similar make up
This is another set of lips(he type which I prefer)....the make up seems different here.....the first set had lips stick and lip gloss, I think,bu they don't look as pretty as the other set.....anybody has any idea wht they've done on the second set lips? I assume its not lip stick and lip color pens, as Trina said😊

Just put lip balm on it or vaseline to make it soft..and you could put clear lip gloss on top of that to add shine..the lip balm then helps the lip gloss stay on longer..
