Really, what in hell do these people mean by showing this poor girl Ragini crying again and again. If she has true spirit, then she should pick up the damn phone and call Anmol/Ranveer ji and sort it out with him. Not be pushed towards another man for shaadi by her family. And anway, who the hell said that the way to happiness is through a man? Why does Ragini need to marry someone in order to feel worthy?
After watching this serial, I feel that I am hurt and let down by the way they are potraying women. I know plenty of women who are dark but have done exceedingly well in life. PLUS, all these women are confident about themselves and their looks. They don't cry about their destiny. Why did Ragini conclude that it is her looks that made Ranveer go away from the Taj Mahotsav? Could it not have been that he felt awkward that she was a family member (well sort of distant relative)?

We women are the biggest watchers of television, we need to give these creatives a feedback that we all come in different sizes, colors and shapes. We do not, and will not endorse such sort of self pitying actions by an extremeley capable 21st century woman such as Ragini.

Poor Ragini is not marrying in order to feel worthy. In fact she is very unhappy about it. She is doing it because her parents are worried about her and she has become a marraigeable age. Obviously she has marraige in the scheme of things in life and though the right groom has come at an inopportune time --- what with her in not a fit mental state etc.-- her parents hope it will perhaps make her forget Ranvir. It is not abnormal to feel sad after your beloved has rejected you. Of course happiness in life is surely not always through a man. But please remember that we all like to have someone special in our life , we all dream and hope to meet a perfect man who will sweep us off our feet in a whirlwind of romance. And basically many of us are romantic at heart. It is a tall order to some ordinary simple girl to think differently. And those who are dark and successful must have a story if not similar to Ragini but a story nonetheless buried deep in their heart. You only need to delve deeper . Here I speak from personal experience. Ragini is pretty strong in my opinion.

Agreed with katypink. I actually think ragini is one of the most well written characters I have seen and definitely the strongest woman on TV right now. Have u really watched hindi serials. Tell me a single woman positive character lately that is shown to be more stronger than her. And why the hell should she call ranveer?

Well said! I don't think Ragini is a weak character either. What we need to remember is the way these characters have been shown....Ragini is a small town girl with conservative viewpoints and values....and while getting married is not her only aim in life, it is but it is sort of a given that her parents would think along these lines and would want to settle their child.....all parents think that way....In the case of Ragini, since it is her self-esteem that has taken a beating every time, her parents on meeting Shishir feel that he would heal that damaged self-esteem and would be the right support for her in life.....Ragini is an emotional character, not a weak one.....she stands up for what she believes in.....for now, after having listened to her parents about giving life another chance, that's all she's really doing.

I agree with Justin, Anu and Katypink, Ragini is one of the best written and beautifully sktched character, and why shd she call Ranvir, he walked off not she, and moreever she is getting married for her parents sake, the dialogue she said yesterday " I knw everyone things everything is going right but its not" it said the thing, she knws whats going around her and she can do nothing, this time her had to go through a lot of pain, she deserves happiness in herlife!!

Luv,

Shagun
