Update:
Swati bumps in to Rudra who asks her what she is doing outside. She replies that the weather was nice outside so she came for a stroll but didn't realise when she fell asleep. She hurries inside and Rudra remembers seeing Dharma kiss her. He heads inside to his room and paces around before throwing a glass on the floor in anger.
Rudra has a flashback:
Dharma as a boy walks around hungry and comes to a samosa stall and begs for something to eat. The man pushes Dharma away who falls at the feet of Rudra [wearing that ridiculous wig]. Rudra tells Dharma that nothing is acquired with love and everything has to be taken with force. Rudra tells Dharma to take samosas and holds the samosa man at gun point. Dharma takes samosas and tells Rudra his name. A smiling Rudra leads Dharma away.
Rudra has more flashbacks…Swati on her birthday…Shourya's surprise on hearing that Dharma still takes Swati to school…Dharma kissing Swati. Rudra looks disappointed.
Swati's room…
Swati dances happily dances with her teddy bear as she remembers the rain scene. Meanwhile Dharma is shown in the car smiling at a picture of Swati, also remembering scenes of them together. Awaz dho humko plays in the background. Dharma rings her but she doesn't pick up.
Chawl…
Shankar pulls up in front of Gaytri's house but refuses to get out. Yasho goes out on her own but the door is opened by Gayatri's mother who is surprised to see her but not so pleased to notice Shankar waiting in the car. She welcomes Yasho inside and leaves to get some water. Whilst she's gone, some women come inside. Gayatri's mother becomes angry to see them and tell them to leave.
GM looks upset that Gayatri is back in such an atmosphere and says that it's because of the Singh family. Gayatri is happy to see Yasho and takes her inside to talk. Yasho gives her shagun for Karva Chauth and asks her to come back home and push the memories aside, not her loved ones.
Gayatri replies that she can't pay heed to her request. She then asks if Dharma brought her here and questions as to why he didn't come in. Yasho looks sad and says that the one that has come doesn't listen to her either. Gayatri looks out the window and spots Shankar.
Yasho asks Gayatri to call him in but she refuses by saying that her door is always open but Shankar can only come in if he listens to her request. Yasho asks her how she will break her fast. Gayatri replies she will go to sleep hungry. But if Shankar still loves her then he will surely come.
Later…
Shankar comes to a stop in front of the house but makes no move to get out of the car. Just then a servant comes running down and informs him that Rudra is calling him. Shankar looks hopeful as he heads up to Rudra's room who tells him that he is ready to give Shankar one chance. Shankar replies that he is ready and Rudra tells him to think about it once. Shankar promises that he won't step back and neither will he ask any questions.
Rudra picks up Shankar's gun and hands it over. Shankar asks who and Rudra turns to face a picture of Shankar and Dharma on the wall. Shankar looks stunned as Rudra takes Dharma's name. He adds that Dharma will not see tomorrow's sunrise.
Preview: Shankar holds the gun in front of Dharma who watches him without a word. Shankar looks pained but pulls the trigger.
Omg; the preview brought tears to my eyes. Not sure if it was the b/g music, Shankar's expression or the fact that Dharma just stood there quietly. Damn-it; why does Rudra have to be so urgh!😭
Wahhhhhhhhhh; I don't want Dharma to die. The scene with all of Dharma and Swati's memories were really sweet. I really, really hope that Shankar misses.
