Armaan tries to talk to Riddhima by same night by walking to her room but its Anjali who is at the door, giving him looks. Riddhima pretends to be fast asleep when she is actually crying.. Armaan makes an excuse that the mosquito coil has run out and he had come to take it…. While going away, he sees tears drop out of Riddhima's eyes that are closed and he feels like kicking himself… but he walks away to his room.. thinking all night…
The next day a sad Riddhima walks into Sanjeevani with the burden of her father's tension as well as the new worry in her life… Armaan comes from behind, pleading her to talk to him.. she tells him she wants to be left alone, as she isn't in a state to talk to him… He walks into the fire escape dejected sitting and thinking what he can do. Just then the door creaks and he has a feeling it is Riddhima who has become…. Dekho I am very very sorry… please mujhe… he trials off but realizes its Nikita who walked in….. She asks him whats the matter…. He tells her its nothing, but she insists saying, she always knows when he is worried and that he shouldn't try and hide it from her… he tells her its about Riddhima and he pours out all that he had heard…. At the end of which he says… please don't share this with anyone… ofcourse not she says….. I wont tell a soul… remember I have always been your secret keeper… remember that diary of yours… I used to keep it with me for the longest period of time so that you don't get into trouble… he smiles a little… but he is still thinking… She takes his hand… and says… don't work Armaan.. I am sure things will be okay…. He says… ofcourse they will be, they have to become okay, and I already know what I am going to do…. What she asks….
He gets up as though he has made a resolve and charged up he walks out of the fire escape… leaving nikita to wonder what he might do... " yeh na… kabhi nahi badle ga.. agar kuch karna hai toh karke hi rahega….."
Armaan walks into the locker room and pulls out the mobile phone.. with shivering hands he dials a number that was just existent on his phone for name sake…. He starts to speak…
Mujhe kuch paison ki zaroorat hai… haan 10 crores….. haan… bas zaroorat hai…. Ghabrayiye mat main aap ko sab lauta doonga… lekin iss waqt…. Aap jaante hai… ke agar sach much mujhe zaroorat nahi padhti toh main aapko kabhi call nahi karta….. please…. Wo sab baatien chodiye…. Aap de sakte hai ya nahi…. Huh PA? ppplease…. DDDaaddd……. ( he struggles finally)
He hangs up…. " mujhe nahi laga tha ke fir kabhi aisa din mere zindagi main aayega" but Riddhima ke liye ye kuch bhi nahi hai……
Nikita walks in from behind…. " mujhe pata tha… uncle se baat kar rahe the na…"
A: Nik, main iss bare main baat nahi karna chahta….
Nikita tries to tell him its all gonna be fine.. he need not worry….
For the next two days Shashank is really tensed and Ridhdima is all the time around him trying to be an emotional support to her father… she tries to keep her interaction with Armaan minimum….. Armaan in the meanwhile tries to talk to him but she keep trying to stay busy or making excuses trying to act all formal with him….
Finally Armaan gets vexed one day and when she goes back home he is not around… she asks Padma where Armaan is and she tells her that Armaan has left… he says he will live in some friends house as he doesn't want to be a burden. Padma tells her that he didn't stop despite her even requesting him many times…. Riddhima feels a jolt… she sits down in her chair….. her heart feeling heavy…. Three days… there was no Armaan in her life.. and it was miserable…
The door bell rings and Riddhima goes to open it sad and dejected… Shashank comes, feeling happy and light hearted….. she hugs Riddhima out of joy…
Shash: Shukar hai uss known donor ka…. Sanjeevani bach gayi Riddhima beta… its all fine… someone has deposited 10 crores to Sanjeevani account …
Riddhima is really very happy, and wants to know who did it, to which Shashank says he hasn't been able to trace the person as he wants to remain anonymous….. Ridhima is finally happy that the main problem is sorted.. now I can tell papa she thinks… par usse pehle I need to win over Armaan… I will talk to him….
Riddhima calls on Armaan's number… there is no response…. She tries several times… she even starts to look for him….finally she calls up Niki….. and asks her if she knows where Armaan is…. Armaan is right in front of Niki, but he tells her, not to tell Riddhima…. But Niki doesn't listen to her… she says… he is right here… Armaan gets angry… Niki speaks to Riddhima in anger… she says… Riddhima… may be Armaan is impulsive, but you don't know much he loves you… pata hai usne tumhaare liye… tumhare sanjeevani ke liye…
Armaan pulls away the phone and cuts it…. And scolds Niki… what the hell is wrong with you… I haven't done this to win her brownie points, I have don't this cos Sanjeevani is as much ours as it is Dr. Shashanks… so stop making it look like I did all of this……and now! We are done with all of this…… you are not going to tell her or anyone anything! And don't u ever dare speak to Riddhima in that fashion again! If we have issues we will sort it out! Samjhi?
He is about to walk out…. But its too late.. an anxious Ridhima who had been searching for Armaan and called up Niki, wasn't too far away and the moment she knew he was there had made her way to the place and she hears the last bit of the conversation and knows not what to say….
She runs hugging him tight saying….. " I am sorry Armaan, lekin mujhe sach much lagta hai ab hume papa ko sab kuch bata dena chahiye…. Ab main aur intezaar nahi kar sakti…
A: ( hgging her back kissing her forehead happy that they have made up): Nahi Riddhima…. Abhi nahi he says… hum tumhaare papa ko kuch nahi bata sakte kyunki…. Main nahi chahta wo kisi dabau main aake iss rishte ke liye haan kahe…. Hume ye saari tensions khatam hone tak ka intezaar karna chahiye….
