Oct. 17th Written Update

Recap: Uday is telling Jags that we do not need to take any favors from anyone. We can get a servant for Rs.5,000/-. Lajjo is upset at hearing this, Abhay puts a red dupatta on Leeza telling her its the symbol of a married woman. Lajjo is worried that LZ is still with Abhay - i must go and wake her up. Abhay & Leeza are sleeping when they hear a knock on their door.

Leeza quickly gets out of bed and goes to hide. The bed is full of rose petals. Abhay goes to see who is at the door, and sees Uday standing there. Uday wants to go in his room but Abhay stops him saying i am up now and i dont want to have any tea. Uday is surprised and sees that Lajjo is standing outside. He walks out telling Abhay to come downstairs - i will wait for you for breakfast.

Downstairs the family is sitting at the dining table, Rama asks about Nandu. Rekha comes out of the kitchen saying he isnt feeling well, so he's gone to the doctor. They say you should've told us, we'd all have helped with preparing breakfast or had ordered it from outside. Rekha said i just thought i'll cook it myself. She gives everyone food, they all pretend to like it. She tells them that she'll cook Rajma/Chawal for lunch - they all say no and Ranjit says we'll just order it. Rekha says no - i will cook lunch. Everyone just has a dreaded look.

In his room Ranjit isnt feeling well after eating Rekha's food & Jags comes in holding her stomach saying she isnt feeling well. Ranjit tells her that ever since Rekha has decided to cook - all of us arent feeling well. Then Rekha walks in - Jags says i smell something burning. Rekha remembers she has something on the stoves and leaves for the kitchen.

After a while Rekha calls everyone to come for lunch. Door bell rings, Ranjit goes to the door to grab the take out food they had ordered. The family gathers around the table and starts eating that. Rekha is getting upset and looks at them eating. LZ comes telling her that she cant eat any of that, she'll only have to eat what she has prepared herself. Rekha & Jags are cooking rice and it does not come out right. They put it in a bag to throw it away just then LZ comes in asking whats in the bag. She tells them that they must eat it & leaves. Rekha is upset saying i wish she would have exposed me in front of the family instead of me having to do all these chores on a daily basis. Jags tells her that's exactly what they want, they want to insult you, take revenge. Rekha says only Leeza but i am sure that Lajwanti knows nothing about the CD. I am going to take advantage of her now.

Lajwanti is in the kitchen making Prantha's - Rekha comes saying she'll take it for Uday & leaves. Leeza comes in the kitchen asking her where did Rekha aunty go? LJ tells her that she took the prantha for Uday. LZ says you shouldnt have given it to her, if you kept on doing this - she'll blackmail you using Uday's name. You'll not be able to do anything, do not let Rekha aunty take advantge of this. saying this she leaves the kitchen.

Rekha goes to Uday & gives him the prantha. He gets happy saying you've made it? Rekha says it doesnt matter who made it. Uday asks her whats the matter, rekha says there are something better left unsaid. He realizes that LJ has made it. Rekha leaves his room - Uday takes the prantha and throws it in the garbage. Rekha gets happy thinking in her head that her plan has worked and now LJ beware of what i will do to you.

Later at night - LJ & LZ are sitting when Rekha & Jags standing besides them. Uday comes in and is standing behind LZ &LJ. Just then Rekha picks up a tray with tea cup on it and offers it to the girls. Uday is watching all this. Rekha says i do everything that you ask for then why do you still bother me. LZ tells Rekha to offer tea to LJ also. LJ tells her its allright i will take it myself. Rekha says now that LZ has said it so please do take the cup. Uday is getting more and more angry seeing this. Rekha turns to him saying Uday come sit with us and have some tea. Uday walks over, takes the tea from LJ and throws it on the floor. He gets angry at them saying first you both are staying here against our wishes, secondly you are insulting my mom. Dont you dare ever bother my mom again. LZ tells Rekha that you know the truth - ask Uday to apologize to Lajwanti. LJ says no, i understand that no son can see his mom getting insulted. She leaves from there with tears in her eyes. Abhay comes in, LZ looks at him and she goes after LJ. Rekha thinks to herself that her second plan also worked perfectly.

LZ is outside when Abhay comes to her. LZ says that she is feeling bad that she has not been able to help LJ. Abhay says we should've taken Uday into confidence first - by not doing so we created more issues for LJ. LZ says yes and we must act on it and tell him tonight. She tells Abhay that he must do it alone as Uday doesnt like me also so he wont listen to him.

LZ goes to see LJ - and as usual she is crying in the room. LZ tells her not to loose hope infact Abhay has gone to talk to Uday right now and soon Uday will come back to you.

Abhay goes to Uday and says don't you think you are behaving too rudely with Lajwanti. Uday says its better not to talk about this topic. She is a very selfish girl - my mom isnt well and yet she is doing all the household chores. & LJ is just standing there watching her, has she forgotten that mom was the only one on her side when the entire family was against her. Abhay asks him that do you still love her. Uday says Yes - but can never forgive her for her mistakes. You tell me can you ever forgive Leeza for her mistakes? Abhay says i have already forgiven her & i want that you should forgive LJ. Uday is surprised to hear this & says what are you talking about, how can you even think about it. That girl tried to kill your father. Abhay says that could also be an accident. Ranbir is outside and hears this. He claps his hands saying what praises can i give my sons. He tells Abhay not to call him Papa, i am ashamed of you. you want to forgive that girl who betrayed you. Abhay says "But papa, Leeza.." Ranbir cuts him off saying dont say her name, i have no relationship with that girl. And today you've forced me to rethink our relationship. Abhay is shocked to hear this.

Pre-cap: Jags reads a note for her which says to meet her in the garden at 8pm. I have some important and personal issues to discuss with you, do not mention any of this to Rekha also. Signed Ranjit.

Comments: I think its time that Leeza shows the CD to the entire family. No point is dragging this anymore.
