"Do-re-mi-fa-so-la-ti" challenge
Just for curosity, what does that means? plz. explain.
Do-re-mi-fa-so-la-ti is the European or Western classical music, the same way Sa-Re-Ga-Ma-Pa-Dha-Ni is for Indians. Please see the excerpt from Wikipedia below.
Like Western classical music, Indian classical music divides the octave into 12 semitones of which the 7 basic notes are Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Dha Ni Sa, in order, replacing Do Re Mi Fa So La Ti Do. However, Indian classical music uses the just intonation tuning; Western classical music uses the equal temperament tuning system.
