Tanya's marriage changes nothing

When Kanaiyaah comes back, it's not as if he won't stalk Tanya because she is "married". Most people with obsessions or psychotic thoughts don't ever stop, no matter what has changed. As an example I provide Hollywood stars: no matter how many times they are arrested or warned or asked to leave properties, some stalkers keep coming back and coming back. This is Kanaiyaah. Tanya is his possession. Tanya is the woman he had (sorry for the language). And Tanya is the one who was meant for him.

We know Tanya married Yuv voluntarily to preserve the honor of her family. How would her marriage guarantee her family's honor forever? Is it because she's married and her family would not have to explain to any prospective grooms?

My belief, and I may very well be wrong, is that Kanaiyah will torture her again. Following her. Playing with her mind. Reminding her of the rape. And regardless of whom she married, this would have happened. Because we are talking about crazy Kanaiyah.

He could threaten her family, Yuv. He could announce that the baby Tanya's carrying is his. He could fight for the baby?

While everything is 20/20 in hindsight, the way Tanya dealt with this did not address the issues or lessen any risks. The pictures are out there. She saved her family public embarrassment. But she also put a rapist back out on the street--gave him a free pass to start his revenge and assault on other women. Moreover, he can hurt the family's honor just with the photographs or his announcement that Tanya is carrying his child (consensually). I cannot understand Tanya. Even after decisions were made, she did not rethink them, given the results. She's just not able to think through things on her own. I'm glad people makes decisions for Tanya--there is something to be said for others controlling your life.
