Does Shah Rukh's new girl have the looks to become a hit heroine?

The following picture is of Anushka, Shah Rukh Khan's new heroine in the soon the be released flick Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi… do take a look at it and then tell us what you think of her…

Does Anushka have the looks to make it to the A-list of Bollywood actresses… or will she just have fame for a few months… is this babe here to stay or will she too fly away

she is pretty no doubt, but i think the real judgement will be when the film comes out and how she acts..because even a pretty face won't help a horrendous performance

She is pretty, but in the photos of them filming, she looked much older.

Whether she is a hit depends on two things a) her screen presence/glam factor and b) whether she can act, and if she gets to show any talent.......this is a film with SRK after all, and he does overshadow newcomers.

She is pretty but she still reminds me of - the girl from the serial "Kareena" and the mixture of the one who played sister of Kareena in JWM.

But you never know normally girls who comes with SRk does becomes a HIT instantly.

Anushka Sharma is pretty. Debuting with SRK won't give one instant success otherwise Suchitra or Gayatri Joshi would have made it big. The girl should have some potential and charisma. Yashraj banner knows how to portray their female leads and I don't think they will fail here. Even the girls from Mohabbatein looked so good in the film but it is another matter that they couldn't make it big.

Anushka's choice of film to debut is good but I doubt her taste in men😛. This is her boyfriend Zoheb Yusuf. He is a model too.

errrmm.. srk did a movie last year and the "heroine" in the movie did not act..or CANNOT act.. and she still got somewhere..

so i dun think actin matters anymore.

Yep, because that heroine falls into the first category of bringing the glam factor to the film, she didn't get to show much 'acting' talent, since it was an out and out SRK film.............What i meant is that its possible to be a success with one or both of those points.

I think Anushka is very pretty, she seems to have something about her. But whether or not she will make it big in Bollywood, only time will tell. And as they say, the proof is in the pudding. We will get to know of her talent once the film releases. Till then we can only give our opinions.
