Changes, changes & changes:
This post is in no way, an attempt to demean or dump the blame on any actor in particular. If you are still loving the show thats great for you. It merely attempts to bringforth the point of view of a DMG's lost viewer, who wants simply to get the message across to the other side. Because for a show that promised so much more, I as a viewer feel cheated somewhere at how it all fell apart. And while it may still be great for you, I am sure there are many who feel the same way that I do.
Armaan and Riddhima fell madly in love with eachother. But before they could officially get together, a series of events drove them apart. The biggest being the adoption issue. At that point in the story, it seemed like Riddhima's adoption was going to be a story that would be revealed sometime in the future, like with the introduction of her biological father or so we thought. There was also hope that Armaan's family would be introduced soon. But now its almost confirmed that Armaan has no family.😆 Or that the big secret is nothing but a phoos bomb! (ahh remember the heated discussion AR had in the locker room about a phoos bomb...after Armaan called Anjie a bomb!...those were seriously the days)😳 Since then things have changed drastically,😕 it seems that they have not only abandoned the initial story, concept, actors, characters, directors and what not along the way but are on a totally different plane -which is quite difficult for the lot of viewers that fell in love with the show right from its beginning to comprehend. As a result, there seems to be a drastic change in the age group that watch the show. It no longer seems like a youthful show, while it may still be amazing to many(really?) it has sadly been a big disappointment to most who expect at least some sort of sensibility from it.
It's a classic case of how horribly things can go wrong; how the mighty has fallen in such a short span of time. King Midas's love of gold cost him dearly- greed for more- kashing in on the the amazing popularity of the original lead pair and other unfortunate events have totally taken away the essence of this show that made it truly beautiful and the half hour magical for so many people in ways that the creatives could never imagine. Believe it or not, many still watch the old magical moments and feel lost in the magic of Dil mill gayee. It would be worthwhile if the creatives could sit together and go through some of their oldest episodes, they would be able to see the change themselves. There have been times in the past when crazy viewers have praised the different aspects of the show to no limits, it was seriously that good. What happened? Surely there must be a reason why more people either choose not to comment or to critise it more thesedays than ever before!
In the end, I guess change is inevitable and nothing ever remains the same. But here even Aristotle would be alarmed for this change has resulted in something that no longer retains its essence, for it no longer holds the essential quality that made it what it was. Wishing there was a time machine...😆

hmmm...even i loved dmg that was shown earlier...
now the things are changed...now i like dmg..
well, no offense to any one, i m glued to it beacuse of KSG.
I am not saying tht the other cast is not good. Ofcourse, they are very much talented, sincere and very nice actors, but they are fallen aprey to the poor script, that's how i feel.

LOL Swas😆😆.....Feeling nostalgic today?😉😆
This downfall of this show began in the very moment when the creatives decided that AR would be the be all and end all of everything....one of my friends had said this to me way back in October only and it was only later I realized how right she was! And ultimately those very wonderful creatives dug their own grave by first focussing too much on AR and then ironically and tragically enough not even treating that supposedly great 'lowe story' track properly either🤣
I've said my R.I.P to DMG a while back already😆

aaaaahhhhhhh, swas and anu......how many of these posts will we write and to no avail....

i too have bid my adieu...no, it was just a quiet coming asunder of bonds long forged. the bonds remain , but sensibilities no longer willing to recognize this as show as the same one which was the anchor of the bonds. thus do i drift off ....

why did i know that anu would say this, and swas if she wrote, would write this??

i have stepped back, but R.I.P? right n ow, there is no feeling inside. i know anu is laughing, but then...well.....not all of us are as astute as her, are we my meow???

LOL Sonali.....you can predict my laughter so easily, haina?😆😆....Yes, I'm quite tired of writing or saying anything about DMG generally.....what is left to say that hasn't been said a million times before already?
And I'm not astute yaar😆😆.....I'd like to think of it as being 'practical'😆😆
And bonds forged go much beyond a mere TV show yaar🤗....it may have been the catalyst for some bonds forming, but it's the people that take the bonds beyond that....not a stupid TV show😆
