Bengali beauties in Bollywood rocked

Puja means new clothes, dressing up... It's not just the mother goddess we look out for year after year during these four days of festivities... It's the real glam goddesses who come to visit her. And this year too we spotted some very special Bolly godesses at the Puja pandals. Take a look...

Sharbani Mukherji

She's not Rani Mukerji. She is her cousin. The 'piya re' music video cat-eyed girl was all decked up at the pujo pandal where the Mukherjees celebrated their 51st year of Durga Puja. Wearing a white and golden saree in proper Bengali style, the girl made us wonder why she did not give Bollywood a serious thought after Border.

Tanuja and Tanisha

Though for them it was not a celebratory year with Tanuja's husband passing away recently, mother and daughter were very much there to visit the goddess and seek her blessings. Though elder sister Kajol was absent, Tanuja in her Dhakai saree and Tanisha in a pink Bengali cotton made their presence felt.

Karishma Tanna and Bappa Lahiri

TV actress Karishma Tanna was there too. Though not a Bengali, she made sure she visited the mother goddess this time around. Not that being a Bengali is mandatory to visit or something, but we couldn't just help but wonder whether the reason for this visit was the one standing with her... the famous Bappa Lahiri, son of the man with the midas touch (quite literally, since everything that touches him seems to be made out of gold) Bappi Lahiri.

Rupali Ganguly

TV actress and the famous cry baby from Bigg Boss 1, Rupali too visited the pandal to seek blessings.
