Please this is not meant to be sermonizing to anyone... so bear with me

Firstly, i love prem and heers characters... after watching this i saw nearly all of left right left to see more of harshad, so am a big fan

Secondly, the only reason i started watching this soap in the huge list of soaps available was the love connection prem had described... the famous " koi rishta nahin hai leiken pyar ", this scene had me hooked

Thirdly, i am an incurable romantic... love reading love stories, watching love stories and do that repeatedly

But after all this i still feel that it is okay for prem to die.... though i loved seeing harshad every day of the week ( reruns on the weekend) i think there love story did not have anywhere further to go. What happens to eternal love when the lovers are finally united, i mean that is beautiful as well but they cant really share that with us ;)

so apart from some premeer scenes during the wedding sequence that we were cheated out of, i am accepting the new track. Heer s love for prem is not going to die with him, it is still in her heart. She will never feel the same for anyone else, whatever the future track will be, prem will always be her first love. But i think to limit her not to love again is wrong. She was unfortunated to lose prem, the timing of the loss i think was due to future tracks ie they could have shown them married and then kill prem... but till we know the rest of the story we wont know.

The whole point of this was the love is still there, if and when heer has feelings for someone else she will compare those to her feelings for prem. If she likes someone elses eyes, she will think about their similarity or difference from prem s eyes. So prem will always be in kis desh, as aditi put it, he will be in heer s heart.

Nice and different way of thinking.

After hearing about HC's death I started thinking did they use the song"hum rahe na rahe,Rahegi sada yaha pyar ki yeh daasta" with a purpose.

So u want to tell us if Prem stay alive then Heer will not love him???What is enternal love???Love forever,Love tht ll not stop,its natural may b the person is not with us anymore but we ll still love but if 2enternal Lovers meet togather then it ll bcom more beautiful

Ok agree with what you mentioned but Heer is someone who is very truthful and sincere in all her relationships just like Prem and mind you she has been waiting for Prem far more than he did. If Prem's love is in her heart how will she love anybody wholeheartedly? And she'll never get into a relationship knowing that she'll not be fair to that person. The only thing she can do is live her life alone (unless she is forced to get married to someone) with Prem's memories or she gets Prem back and in the current scenario I don't see how that will happen. The only thing I know is I want Harshad back in the show and I want to see Harshad - Aditi magic. Nothing more nothing less.

NO NO I did not mean that heer will not love him, but being so perfect in their love which is what we love right

so what will the track of the show be..... they r married, people try to create differences but prem and heer being prem and heer dont fall for those as we have already seen with KJ trying to make differences, so the creatives are not left with anything to show....would u rather that prem was alive, they get married and then they have problems, see that is also something we wouldnt be able to see otherwise they will have to focus the track on other people and just show romantic romantic premeer scenes to keep us happy, wouldnt work for very long... that is what i was trying to say and completely agree with the rest of what you said but what will the viewer have to see after that ....

Do you think if a person loses their first love they cannot love again???

i think a heart can accomodate more love than we can imagine, loving someone else will not take away the first love...

and heer was marrying manmeet initially when her parents wanted her to, i think prem put her situation very nicely right before his own wedding to ash, all of what he said is relevant here, try to find that and listen to it... but a part of it was "heer to larki hai na, bhagawat bhe nahin kar sakte, chup chap kisse se shaadi ker ke meri duniya say bahut door chale jayay ge..."

I actually disagree. I also agree with the fact that they could not show Prem and Heer living together happily forever, it is a serial, they have to show problems. But, I could think of plenty of scenarios where Prem and Heer faced problems together. This would keep their eternal love track, while it could also keep the show going. This isn't impossible, they've done it in shows like Kumkum and Banoo Main Teri Dulhan. Heer loving or marrying someone else will completely go against the essence of the show. But, more than that, I just wish Indian shows (or Ekta shows) were a bit shorter, so they would make more sense, like Kutumb.

I just don't get it if two people love eachother why can't they remain alive or together in Indian soaps?

No Prem (Harshad) No KDMHMD because we are tired of this stuff. We don't watch soaps to get depressed for once we deserve a soap that has a feeling of happiness to it. KDMHMD will always remain depressed without Prem, as you yourself mentioned Heer will compare anyone she would like with Prem that in itself is depressing. We have had enough of Ekta's big depressing sessions in her soaps. KDMHMD is uncomplete without Prem and Heer (Harshad and Aditi) and that is something Ekta herself made us believe

One thing though I now realise that Prem was to die as per the actual concept and the play was the story of HEER, she was the person whom the story was based upon, she was the main focus but Harshad performed the chrachter of prem so briliantly that he over took the Heer chrachter some what and became the main person for the viewers. Because Heer's relationship was shown intense with Prem only while on the other hand Prem was a brother, a son, a lover and he performed briliantly all these roles so he dominated Heer and Ekta couldn't do anything about it.

For now though I won't watch it without Prem because the soap is simply uncomplete and depressing and full of the usual good for nothing stuff.

dat's da problem..........can't we think above ekta's dirty storytracks after lovers get married???? i don't blame u 4 this!!!! it's but natural sum ppl tend to think it dat way!!!! but y only this?????
is it a compulsion dat da leads need to have differences btw to make a story move ahead??? ok it might b a part n parcel of life.....but it need not b stretched as much as ekta show in her shows!!!!!!
if premeer made such a beautiful exception till now from her other shows then y not show da difference after marriage too????
it's not only problems btw da leads dat exist in da world after marriage!!! i hate ekta 4 this......she is da one planted these things most!!!!!!!always silly misunderstangs which painfully go on forever!!!!!
u know for me dat's where da challenge lies where even after marriage she'll b able to keep da etrnal love btw them......dat's sumthing difficult,pleaseant n unique!!!!!! killing is nothing but lack of confidence to take da story ny furthur!!!! then y start it in da first place if u can't take it forward??? so it makes this story too as normal as ny other not sumthing unique definetly not eternal!!!!!!!

I don't agree ............ this is not a simple love story we're talking about here , this love story goes far beyond that............here we're talking about immortal love, eternal love, they were born for eachother at least that is the concept Ekta gave to us right........., so they belong together forever.

And besides why is it always Ekta who show her characters get married like 20 times in all those serials, can't she think of stories beyond that......... there are so many serials where the lead couple get married and solve problems together and still these shows run for a good period of time, look at KumKum, Saath Phere etc.............it's not necessary that in every serial we have to see 20 shaadi's before the main lead come together, if not dying..... if it was only 1 or 2 serials than it was maybe ok, but Ekta does that in every BT serial..........how long can you go on like this???? So I think Ekta needs to straighten her so-called creativity out and come with new things. She promised KDMHMD would be totally different............what happened???? After 7 months of good creative work, we're back on square one right.......... her usual crap 😡
