Have you noticed that Mayank always.....

Have you guys noticed, that Mayank has this perpetually amused smirk/smile {= smrile?!?! 😕😕 😆} on his face.... The only time it seems to leave his face is when he makes that exasperated face, with an eye roll [mostly for Nupur's benefit... 😆😆😆] I like how he seems constantly amused by the shallow and frivolous people around him and how ridiculous they act.... It's like he's always smiling at some private joke....😳 I also love how he indulges Nupur's childishness at times; e.g when Nupur goes on and on about movies and SRK, and how much she loves him, he just smirks and asks "why" when he clearly has no interest, but knows that she's going to tell him anyway... 😆

Er, ok, I'll stop with the "over-analysing Mayank" post now..... 😛😛 Comments, people?

Have any of you read "All American Girl" by Meg Cabot [the author of Princess Diaries]??? The female lead describes the male character (who happens to be the US President's son) as always "smiling at some private joke" and "with a twinkle in his eye".... At first, she feels weird and disturbed, as to why this dude is always smiling in that weird way...😛😛 Or if he was laughing at her... But in the end, they get together and she asks him why he always smiles that way and he replies that it was because of her, because he'd never met a girl as amazing as her before.... 😳😳😳

I think the character is COMPLETELY Mayank. He's a super smart guy who goes to this exclusive school for genius kids, and always has a witty remark to spare. 😳

If you guys haven't, you really should read the book! It's wonderful!! And now, whenever I read it, I will imagine Mayank in the place of the main lead 😳 [and myself as the female lead of course! Ha ha ha! 😆]

I agree, Nupur is more of a Lucy... Except that Lucy is already cool, and Nupur.... Eh.... Not so much... 😛 I don't think Indian TV will ever be ready for a morbid character like Sam who wears all black and draws celebs under waterfalls for money... 🤣🤣🤣 Lol, she'll be branded a black magic ki punditan or something... 😆

You know what my biggest complaint with the show right now is? It shows Nupur, Gunjan, Samrat, Dia and even Uday's views on each other.... But not really Mayank's... I mean, sure, superficially, they show how Mayank thinks Nupur and everyone else in the college [other than Gunjan] is an idiot... But Mayank is mostly a character seen from other's viewpoints... I would love to know what Mayank REALLY thinks of Nupur, Gunjan and Samrat.... 😳😳😳 Well, just Nupur mostly... 😉😉

I actually like the fact that Mayank's opinions aren't glaringly clarified point for point as to what he thinks of Dia, Samrat and co.
