Recap: Lajjo sees Rads and Uday on the terrace, they are playing in the rain, rads pretend to slip while grabbing Uday. He falls on top of her. He sees Lajjo watching them.
Uday sees that Lajjo is watching them, he quickly gets up to call out to her but she goes away from there with tears in her eyes. He is feeling bad – he apologized to Rads and leaves. Lajjo goes down the stairs and Jags watches her, and then starts talking to herself that the reason LJ is crying she must've seen Rads & Uday together and it's good that she's seen the truth. And now this means LJ is out and Rads is in. LJ is in her room crying (as always) LZ asks her what happened. LJ tells her that Uday does not love her, he loves Rads. LZ assures her that they are just two good friends, he does not love her, he is a smart guy, he knows his limits. LJ says that's not the case, I am his past, and Rads is his present – he loves her. LZ says what if this is all a drama, someone planned it. LJ says why anyone would do that – LZ says "they must've done it to break us down, so we'd leave the house. But we will not back down, you still trust me? Promise me one thing that you will not cry again, you need to be strong, if you kept on crying like this then we cannot fight this fight we are in." LJ promises. LZ tells her that they need to show the family proof in order to prove our innocence, try to remember where you saw Uma's report. LJ says she cannot remember, its coz she is illiterate and if she was educated – LZ holds her telling that she'll help her with educating her.
Next morning – Rekha is in Rads room – telling her that don't be so relaxed; Uday is still not taking an interest in you the way he should. Rads say that Uday is unable to forget LJ – don't know what that illiterate girl has done to Uday. Rekha says if an educated person cannot break the magic of an uneducated girl then that is their weakness. Rads questions what she meant by that. Rekha says that is your responsibility to bring distance between LJ & Uday by getting so close to Uday that he is forced to say in front of LJ that he is in love with you, doesn't matter how – but as long as LJ hears this. Rads says that she'll make this happen today.
Rekha goes to her room, Jags is there already. Rekha says that once Rads can make Uday say in front of both LZ & LJ that he is in love with her. Jags teases her saying that di is too excited about having Rads as her daughter in law. Rekha says do I look stupid to you – why would I want to get rid of one problem, and embrace the other problem. If LJ is stupid, Rads is over smart, after marriage she won't be in my control, but she'll try to keep me in control. Rekha's husband comes and asks her how long Rads is going to stay here. You've seen the problems we are all facing by forcing any relationship on anyone – so it's better if you didn't do anything. Rekha tells him that "Uday is enjoying spending time with Rads and you never know when it'll turn into love. You kept your mouth shut before, and now keep it shut this time as well." Jags says that Di you shouldn't talk to jiju in that tone. Rekha says "Jo jis layak hota hai, uske saath waise hi baat karni chahiye." Her husband is embarrassed, feels insulted and shocked to hear what she just said.
Ranbir, his wife, Abhay are sitting in the family room – when Rads brings tea for them all. His wife says that she is such a sweet girl, always taking care of everyone. Jags upon hearing this says that everyone in the family is praising Rads. Rekha tells Ranbir that "Rads parents want her to marry Uday, she's already agreed. Why don't you talk to Uday about this?" Ranbir says that he is still married; rekha suggests atleast get them engaged. Ranbir says without divorce not even engagement can happen and until we can be certain that Uday is happy with this there is no point in even discussing and leaves.
Rekha tells Jags that he always does what he wants; it didn't matter to him whether the girl is of his choice or mine. If it were in my hands, I wouldn't even look at his face but all the business is in his control. Jags says that we should get Ranbir on our side and I'll handle that. We have to make sure that just once he knows that Uday is happier without LJ then watch he'll himself talk to you about his second marriage. Ranbir and his wife are in his room and upset at Rekha's suggestion of 2nd marriage. They are both against it. Jags comes to their room – saying that it's the matter of Abhay's & Uday's life not what Rekha di thinks. You've already seen what the 2 daughter in laws have done – ranbir tells her that he doesn't want to talk about this. First he'll talk to Uday – Jags tells him not to as he is like you and he'll definitely say. But we are the elders of the family and we should be the ones looking out for them, and then leaves the room. His wife says that we've always thought of Uday as our own son and we should think about his happiness. Just then Nandu comes and calls them for dinner.
Everyone is at the dinner table eating, Rads is standing saying that she's cooked the food herself. Everyone is impressed with her food. Udays cell rings – she grabs it from him saying while eating no phone calls, he agrees. The entire family is just happy seeing them and Ranbir is watching them. After dinner – Uday is sitting and reading a book. Rads comes in saying its such a beautiful weather, its so boring reading serious books. They are laughing, talking when Ranbir walks by their room and watches them. This makes him think that he has noticed Uday is always smiling, happy when he is around Rads. Nandu comes in the room and gives him water. Ranbir asks him to send Uday – Nandu says that Uday has gone upstairs – either on the terrace or the garden with Rads. Uday is on the terrace, its windy and calls out for Rads. He is about to walk back – when he hears the sound of ghungroo and its Rads walking towards him in a Saree.
Pre-cap: LZ says to LJ to promise her that in the next 24hrs she'll not go anywhere. LJ says that she should promise her that if nothing happened within the next 24hrs then she won't stop her from leaving.
