Its the best thing that they are doing !!!! KGGK has fallen from its number 2 position already and they have done everything that they can.......so its good its ending when its in top 5 !!!! 👏👏

Maybe Ekta is changing her strategy. After the articles about BT buying back their primetime slots from Starplus........Starplus was free to go to other production houses to commission new serials. Starplus has probably noticed that family centric soaps (where the main female lead goes through all kinds of hardships after she has married and how she maintains the relationships in the family) have had their day.

The focus has shifted to soaps based on young lovers or young girls who go through angst and strife in their lives. I understand that Rajan Shahi...who makes Bidaii....was originally approached by Starplus to produce a love story in place of Kahanii......but Ekta must have made Starplus an offer they could not have refused. Rajan Shahi still needed to look for actors and cast for his new serial...which would have taken at least 3-4 months. Ekta had Harshad Chopra in her bag......who was already popular.....and she already had these type of storylines that Starplus was interested in the pipeline........as such...she probably decided to wind up Kahanii before it turned sour....and is now replacing it with a love story with Harshad as main lead.
