Delnaaz in a love triangle

Delnaaz Paul is all set to tickle the funny bone once again. She is making an entry in Paani Puri as Vikas Puri's (Sumeet Raghavan) childhood friend, Sapna. Her entry will lead to a love triangle.

Delnaaz who is one of the most popular comedy actresses on television will be seen at her funniest best in the forthcoming episodes of Paani Puri. A source from the production house informed, "Delnaaz will play a childhood friend and neighbour of Vikas Puri. She is doing a running cameo where she would keep making appearances in the show, later as well. She had gone to the US for sometime and when she returns to India, she is surprised to see Vikas married to Divya (Smita Bansal). She gets heart broken as she always had a hidden crush on him. Whenever they played ghar ghar during their childhood, she would always be his wife. So she cannot accept the fact that he is now married to someone else. She doesn't leave any stone unturned to lure him but in vain as Vikas only loves his wife Divya Paani."

Delnaaz says, "I have worked with the director of Paani Puri Rajan Wagdhare in the sitcom Yess Boss as well. He is one of the best people we have in comedy. It was wonderful working with the team of Paani Puri."

Talking about her character, Delnaz says, "For the first time, I will be doing a love triangle. I am playing a Punjabi girl who is full of life. She is a vibrant and colourful person who loves talking. The acts that she does to impress Vikas are really funny."

The entry of Delnaaz will telecast from October 4 (Saturday).
