Besides being an RJ, an actress (Pooja in the show Kuchh is Tarah which wrapped up recently), anchor (she hosts Let's Talk on Zoom) and a voice-over artist, Tarana has done it all.
And now she's planning to add another feather to her already crowded cap by planning to do stand-up comedy. "I want to try everything in life that excites me. Though I find it scary to take up stand-up comedy at this point of time, I find it very challenging and I'm far too confident to take it up. And the greatest challenge will be to perform in front of a live audience on stage," says the bindaas babe, adding, "Many people told me that I have a very funny side and that I must explore that territory as well. So the thought remained with me and I'm currently thinking about doing something on those lines."
And how does she find time to dabble in all these things considering that she's also married? "Well, you need to make time for it and I manage somehow. I love life and I live it that way. But ya, Sunday is my off day and I don't work on that day no matter what it is," she says.
And how was the experience of working in Kuchh Is Tarah? "Well, I think we'd taken the roles a bit too seriously because the cast of the show had bonded so well like a family. I used to really think that I'm Dimple Jhangiani's elder sister, similar to what we used to play on screen.
And she being the only child of her family, used to treat me also as one. Like if she's hungry she'd come to me, and likewise I'd boss over her like an elder sister. And now that the show has wrapped up, it feels very sad to part," says the actress who'll soon be seen in Kabir Sadanand's film Tum Milo Toh Sahi.
