Love will find a way. And this holds true for Kareena Kapoor too. Her wish to spend her birthday yesterday with boyfriend Saif Ali Khan might have remained just an unfulfilled wish had she not been determined.

Kareena was shooting in Ladakh for Rajkumar Hirani's 3 Idiots. But, bad weather prevented them from shooting any further. That's when she decided to go to Srinagar to meet Saif who was shooting there for Imtiaz Ali's next.

Even though Saif couldn't reach Ladakh, Bebo managed to reach Srinagar.

Our source said, "Kareena had earlier expressed a wish that she wanted Saif to surprise her on her birthday. Being the loving boyfriend that Saif is, he was all set to make Kareena's birthday as special as possible."

That's when Saif decided to go all the way to Ladakh where Kareena was shooting for 3 Idiots. "However, much to his dismay, extreme snow fall in Ladakh prevented him from reaching there," added the source.

But Kareena being Kareena wasn't ready to give up and spend her birthday without her Saifu. She suddenly left for Srinagar via road and spent the day with Saif. Who cares about the bad weather!

And what about the shooting of 3 Idiots? "Raju Hirani had already given a day off to Kareena as it was her birthday," said the source.

Saif and Kareena were unavailable for comment— this we were prepared for considering they wanted all the privacy they could get yesterday!

Saif and Kareena brave bad weather to be together

Snow and storm be darned. Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor have shown that nothing can keep them apart once they make up their mind to be together.

Saif had a plan to surprise Bebo on her birthday this weekend. She was shooting in Leh and Ladakh for Rajkumar Hirani's film 3 Idiots with Aamir Khan when the whether took a bad turn and foiled not just the shoot but also Saif's plan to fly to the mountainous town on Bebo's special day.

The actor had been shooting his home production in Delhi. Since all flights to Leh were canceled due to rough whether, he reportedly flew to Srinagar, hoping to hit the road from thereon.

On the other end, Kareena too could not stop herself from heading towards her beau. Since the shoot was already cancelled, Bebo, too, traveled by road to meet Saif somewhere midway.

According to a tabloid report, the lovers met at a lodge in Kargil. Saif reportedly organized a small party in the evening and even arranged for a cake, making it a memorable birthday for Bebo. And though the two were not alone (a few friends accompanied them), they mostly kept to themselves.

Now, Bebo would fly to Shimla to continue the shoot of '3 Idiots' as the location has been shifted from Ladakh to Shimla. Saif, meanwhile, will fly down to the capital to resume the shoot of his home production with Imtiaz Ali .
