Story of four young girls situated in the holy city of India (Benaras). Hum Ladkiaan… maayke se sasural tak, depicts the simplicity of the lives, aspirations, friendship, desires and needs of four small town girls – Pooja… ever sacrificing and innocent; Sapna… loves to dress up and dream; Alka… an amazing singer and Ajju… simple with average looks.

Life in Benaras has everything going for the girls, whether they are wandering on the ghats of the Ganges, eating mouth-watering gol guppas in the narrow lanes or just chatting away on the terrace… there is never a dull moment. Though they are average in studies they look forward to college where they find life different… far from their sheltered and protected homes.

With stars and big dreams in their eyes the four girls move along to explore life outside their home. While they realize the works and ways of the real world… they face life as it comes. But what happens when it's time for their marriage? Nobody knows how their journey meanders… not even their families who cannot imagine life without them. Hum Ladkiyan… is a heart-warming journey of the four vivacious girls.
