After Betiyaan, its Ladkiyaan on Sony...

Earlier it was saas-bahu and betiyaan which ruled the small screen for years. Next on the line is ladkiyaan which will soon become a new trend on television. We are talking about the upcoming show Hum Ladkiyaan on Sony.

“Hum Ladkiyaan is a show which portrays the journey of four friends who perceive different dreams and support each other for the same cause,” says our khabroo.

Elaborating further on the concept the source reveals that, “One is an aspiring singer, another is a dreamer, third one is a simple girl and the last one is a lonely girl and her friends are her world. It’s a beautiful story of their relationship and aspirations.”

Sapna is the one who always dream of a fairytale weeding that a handsome guy will come on horse and take her away. Alka is an aspiring singer who wants to make it big in this genre. Pooja is a girl for whom her friends are everything, she doesn’t have any such ambition in life and likes to be around for her friends. Lastly it’s Anjulika who is a very simple looking girl. She is very ordinary but is confident about her self.

The name of the show goes like Hum Ladkiyaan, maayke se saasural tak. “The show starts with their dreams and must end when every body gets married. But as it’s a daily show so you really cant predict”, adds our well-placed source.

The beautiful places and the forts that one can see in the promos are of Banaras. The show will go on air in mid October at the time slot of 8:30 pm
