Both myself and Shifu have been having a few difficulties off late and we would like your sincere opinions on the same...
Reading some replies made by members off late, both myself and Shifu have got shocked no doubt and soooo hurt too😭...
we saw many examples off late.. but didnt want to dig too much... just a few excerpts from the VM/RT/Siya problems offlate... and then now when a common note that was put up just as a precautionary reminder in all the Fan threads (RT/VIK/MUGS) since the focus of all fan threads does tend to move to chatting once in a while... 😕 i.e. was just a normal note in ALL FAN THREADS.. this is the kind of replies we have been receiving....
I am sure the mods would have seen this... dont you think that if we would have seen this, they would have too... but then we know what happens here...
Why no chatting i want the answer..in other fan threads chatting goes on..why dont you del there..

i just hate this forum for the impartially the mod do everytime..if u really want to del something on this forum..go and del the rubbhish comments on actors on thei forum..its a abetter job of mod i think..

one thing more..there was no mc in dv since two months so her fans want to enjoy ..so they chat in the thread sometime..not everytime...this is not the way that you del all the posts....

if they do angain something like this then there is IF fan thread section we would go there...and stop visiting here

really i dont at any point of time to show off about this, but moderating DV section takes about 3 hours minimum everyday...
when i read replies to a few posts i make where people say "wow nice to see lashy reply instead of just mod notes" i feel saddened thinking that if only all my IF time wasnt taken away in moderating...
there are many things in developing DV section that happen apart from just checking posts and resolving arguments... merging common threads, checking that chatting doesnt go on, ensuring updates are posted on time, taking care of arguments, helping out the many members who pm asking for help in various things, organizing contests etc... all of this...
hence i have always stated and re-instate the same thing... that a few comments or arguments might have been missed by us... also without being entirely wrong, it could be that the outcome of an argument could have worked for/against one side's favour... but its just human nature/expression and sometimes things swing to one side and sometimes to the other....but it doesnt mean that both of us favour one side only.... besides, unfortunately for the past 3 odd months only the two of us have been here to handle the section. For putting forth anyone else for promotion, since the changes to IF, promotion lists havent been moving at all.😕 What is humanly possible in the time we have, we try and do and i wouldnt mind being blamed for missing out on a thing or two. I even wholeheartedly thank the numerous members who sometimes pm us to point out missing links to updates and missed out arguments.
But blaming us of turning a blind eye to attend to things that only suit us... blaming us of being partial... is actually pointing fingers at our suitability as a development team member at all... 😭
Neither me not Shifu are special fans of RT, Vikrant, Mugs or Siya... I am confident that all members who know us closely would vouch for that... yet time and again members reply that the moderators here are partial...
When some problems with respect to RT have been taken care of immediately 😕 it could probably be because some members immediately pmed us to show us the problem and one of us might have checked it and attended to it... Definitely not because we both are so enamoured with RT that we would only strive to solve problematic posts relating to RT and avoid problems occuring with VIK/mugs posts... [Girls who know me from the PRC days would know what a big fan i am of mugs too as in I like their jodi... there has never been a single post where i have done anything less than appreciate Vikrant's acting... 😕 in fact acting-wise i am possibly a bigger fan of VM than RT ]
Girls... 😭Shifu also has her school, exams and other things to take care of... i also have my personal things to tend to at home everyday and plus a special development in my life recently... so we have to make time for IF and generally cant afford to stay away from IF for more than a certain time since we are bound to check if the section is functioning properly....
If after everything we do, (cos we dont seem to be appreciated, no pats on the backs, no remuneration, no nothing... and a lot of brickbats...) wouldnt you call this a very thankless job?
What is the point of continuing when the very friends/members we do all this for are not happy with us? We both then dont see any reason behind continuing as moderators... both of us would like to step down from the responsibilities and hand over to someone else who others would possibly be happier with...
if others are confident of being able to do the job better... we would be more than happy for you to pm us your names and we shall put it forth in the mod section and hope the promotions would not take too long to happen.
this is sooooooooooooooooooooo hurting girls.... incredibly.... and the girls who put this up are people i know... thats what really upset me even more... and girls this is not the first time ... i.e. we are not stepping out at the first challenge.... to tell you frankly we have received extremely abusive pms even from girls who were our own friends in the past just for missing out on simple things like so much as editing a rude comment made by some other member on a particular actor...
all this is after facing a lot of stuff for a very long time that we both kind of decided that what happened after yesterday was possibly the last straw....
so we both dont know what else to say apart from adieu.... ciao... girls... it was lovely knowing most of you... 🤗🤗🤗
we both shall try and only retain the happy memories from here.... 🤗🤗🤗
