Kareena really made Geet a memorable character with her many phases. That innocent/naughty look in "oh no, manjeet", or the fire in the line, "sikhni hoon main bhatinda ki". The lost and forlorn look in the second half when she scoffs herself from being so naive, or the anger she musters in the "teri maa ki..." line.
If anyone though, I'm placing my bet on this girl. She's really impressed me in JTYTN.

like srsly it wasn't a complex role by any standards.. the movie was overrated and a simple chick flick...nothing path breaking or innovative or new that only comes once in a lifetime LOL

anyone could have done the role (okay okay now some smart a** person don't start with nooooo Rakhi Sawant couldn't have done ittttt..or Madhuri Dixit (now not 15 years ago) couldn't have done it...your momma couldn't have pulled it off crap.. yeah yeah OKAY)

i am sure Genelia will do well... the role doesn't need any major histronics... most overrated performance in bollywood in years(that doesn't say much though)

i think genelia will definately do a good job. she is a amazing actress
