Introducing 2 new singers Vaishali and Soumen. Wow! what an impact. I loved both their performances. Question arises again why are two winners in other areas being introduced and pitched against the rest. I think the rest of the contestants feel that it is not fair. But this is the format introduced at SRGMP 2007, when Aneek came in and ultimately took the crown.
Soumen is from Kolkatta which has one of the largest voting machines and also plenty of good singers.👏👏👏

But I am glad Soumen was allocated to Adeshji as Faraz was feeling lonely.😆

I agree with u summer ...Kya voice ..kya range hai Vaishali ki 👏....loved her performance ..Shoumen was also a brilliant addition👏!!!...Now the equation has changed completely ....at least ...Now I see 5 strong female contestants ..

Vaishali, Naina, Pratibha, Mitika and Yashita ..out of boys only 3 impressed me so far ..kaushik, Zaheer and now Shoumen

I think that's no small feat😉...jaise Shankar ne kahaan ....ab aayega mazaa ...

Although I know once public voting starts all this order will go topsy turvy😆..I won't be surprised if one of the contestants I mentioned above gets eliminated next week ....

But now I got used to it 😊

I havent seen the initial rounds of Sa re ga ma but i read somewhere that shoumen was there , only to be eliminited by mahaguru. can anyone shed the light on this issue?

No ....I think u confused shoumen with Sayon....Sayon choudhury was another talented singer from Kolkata who was eliminated by Mahaguru ...

Where as Shoumen and Vaishali r new entries this week ...Shoumen , a winner of Zee bangla SRGMP 2008 and Vaishali , winner of Zee Maharashtra ...both got direct entry into srgmp2009.....😊

i didn't like either of them

what i don't understand is why do these singers get easy entry in the final round everytime..

i don't think its fair and it is a ethnocentric too, how they bring in winners of the two regional competitions.. what about other regions in India?

Shoumen has the Kolkatta voting machine . Both being winners of Maharastra and Banglah they are bound to have a following. ID in 2005 was very upset with this format.

SRGMP viewers are the ones to benefit the most.

I wonder whether any further singers will be added???????

There will also be a further wild card round (later) to give some of the eliminated ones a chance again.

These two additions are lovely.
