Karan Mehra talks about his fitness fundas by Vidhya Krishnan Sep 17, 2008, Bangalore
My workout regime… I hit the gym four to five days a week in the evening. I work out for an hour and I do fifteen minutes of jogging as a warm up followed by weights.
My happiness quotient… Remaining fit.
My daily diet… I avoid eating carbohydrates. I generally have dal-roti, eggs, salads, curds.
On a rainy day, my idea of a workout would be... I would like to skip my work-out. I prefer relaxing at home.
My idea of relaxation... Watching movies, sleeping, setting my cup-board and catching up with friends. I do like playing games but I would have the pressure of winning and don't consider that as a relaxation. And I don't have the time for parties.
Size zero to you is... There must be something when people are talking so much about it. I feel the 0%fat quotient is what size-zero means to me. And I know people who take steroids for that. I recently met Salman Khan and I feel he has the perfect body and the right shape. I prefer girls to be a little plump and dislike skinny bodies.
I crave for... Cars but I can't afford to buy all the models that I like. I am planning to buy a BMW or settle for a Civic or any other Honda model. I also crave for good food. I am a big foodie and love butter chicken. Anything with chicken goes for me and in vegetarian food, I prefer koftas and paneer.
A lifestyle change I'm trying to make... Nothing really. My mum keeps nagging me to be neat and tidy and I am trying to work on that.
