The finalists:

We already remember rajivs performance before the judges in one of the earlier rounds. He forgot the lyrics and thus was out in the course. He came back through public voting and was reelected. From the starting his voice was loved by the mentors and now he has reached the final stage of the competition.Aadesh has even made rajeev sing a small part in one of the movies.Although he dosent have incredible control over sur he does is a force to recon. If he does get a good control over sur he will be a lovely singer. In the last few performances in the final round going on he had scale problems twice which might have posed a threat on his being eliminated but the public is still with him.
2)Name : Himani Kapoor
Age : 17
Location : Faridabad
The hurricane from haryana is a seventeen year old student of class twelve and is one of the finalists of Challenge 2005.She can be a tough competitor in the female side as she sings well but she has got yellow in her last voting of 01/12/05, getting 6.9 %.
3)Name : Hemachandra
Age : 17
Location : Hyderabad
A strong contender in the competition from the male side,he showed great singing qualities. He belongs to a musical family. He was in tension last voting results day as before that he had given a performance where he went off track from the song. One of the most sincear as once pointed out by Aadesh, Hemachandra can reach heights in the competition.

A contender in the females twinkle was also regarded by some as a tough competitor.The last two weeks gave her close calls where she got yellow in both.She can sing well and we have to wait and see wheather she goes more far in the competetion or not.
8)Name : Nihira
Age : 17
Location : Mumbai
Some may find her confident and some overconfident. One things for sure she does has great singing power. With good control over sur she can be a force to recon.She has been consistent in her performances and recently has acheived decent percentage of votes from the public not even once getting the yellow light.
9)Name : Debojit Saha
Age : 29
Location : Silchar (Assam)
He is singer from the male side who has reached the finals and can also sing well. After coming in the finals he has received great response from the public getting high percentages of votes.Although he might not be that great like others in terms of sur but he shouldnt be underestimated.He also can go more far in the competition.
10)Name:Vineet Singh
Age:17
Location:Lucknow U.P
The rockstar vineet should never be underestimated.One of the strongest in the compettion and he has been getting good number of votes.He has topped the charts twice in getting the highest number of votes.He can be a great force to be reconed with.One of my favourites and the young lad should have a bright future.
11)Name: Ujjaini Mukherjee
Age: 17 years
Location: Kolkata
After going out of the competition she has come back through public voting and now is still in the competition. A participant who is not much of age but can sing well. She definately can be a force to recon.
12)Name: Paresh Madhapara Age: 25
Location: London
The man from UK Paresh, is also one of the participants who was out and came back through public voting.He is a good singer too.He may not have great control over sur but still sings well. He may get a lot better with time.
All the above details and descriptions about the contestants are what i thought of and have no intention of under or over valuing any contestants abilities
