Well, a very fast paced episode.. and a good one too.
Court Scene- Raj brings Mamaji as state witness. Tauji gets worried, looking at mamaji and mamaji gives him a defensive look. Proceedings start. Raj questions mamaji.. about his job, etc. Mamaji replies. He asks him if he knows Sohan SIngh, and recognises him. Mamaji says ofcourse, and points at Tauji. Raj asks him how long he has known Sohan Singh, the terrorist. Mamaji says, a long while. Raj asks, how does he know him? Mamaji says, he makes excellent food, hence he is very well known and admired for his cooking skills ( Chk out Raj's face here !! Hilarious turn of events !! 😆) Tauji is smirking.
Raj gets irritated , and asks mamaji as to why he is lying. He has signed on the confession note where he admits that Sohan Singh is a terrorist. mamaji backtracks and says, you made me sign on a blank paper..I never knew what it was about. Raj starts getting furious. He then asks mamaji, what abt the pistol found in your house? Mamaji again slyly," but you gave me the gun, and asked me to plant it in my own house.You even promised me a raise and promotion, if I cooperated." Basically he totally goes hostile as a state witness.
Raj is asked to approach the bench, and is given a warning by the Judge. For turning hostile, mamaji is fined Rs 5000 and one month in prison. Raj fumes for having lost an important witness. Tauji and mamaji give each other an assuring smile.
Raj's House: Everyone is sitting discussing the upcoming engagement when Raj and daroga walk in. Raj's dad wants to talk to him, but he says he is busy. He walks in with the daroga, while passing, the daroga gives lajjo's dad a backward glance, and tries to place him out of memory, but fails to do so. They go inside and discuss the case. Daroga suggests using third degree torture on tauji, but Raj refuses. They discuss things a bit further, then leave.
On the way back to the sitting room, Raj says he needs to go out. His dad stops him saying he has good news. His mom tells him abt his upcoming nuptials with Lajjo. Raj totally bursts out, " What?? Is jaahil, ganwaar, anpad ke saath meri shaadi? Jise ek paise ki bhi akal nahi hai?? Nahi chaiee jee."
His father immediately gets furious and starts hollering at him. Raj keeps trying to refuse, but his father bellows on him. Finally, the daroga recognises the conman dad and brings him in front of the family ( the joker conman was hiding behind a chair 😆) He tells everyone that this guy is a lout and a fraud, and he is a known criminal in Ferozepur. Raj actually thanks God... 😃 His Bua is also quite pleased.. the fraud is taken away.. and Raj's dad gives bibi rani a venomous look. She quails.
FInally, the dad blasts poor Kewal left, right and centre, and in no nice words, asks him to control his wife. He also tells him, that bibi rani shud keep to her own matters, and dare not come in front of him. Kewal goes and blasts his wife.. oh jee, O'SOME scene..👏
Mamijee's House.. The imbecile Lovely is again misbehaving with Kranti. She complains to mami, who showers her usual, daily dose of abuses at Kranti. ( Poor Kranti, no tauji, mamaji or Nirmal to help her these days, looks like a lost lamb poor thing)
The court summons arrive, mami is told that mamajee backtracked in court and turned hostile. she is asked to pay a fine of Rs 5000. mami totally loses her cool, and blasts Kranti. She says.. you are going to arrange this money..
Precap: I think tauji is given a death sentence. Raj looks victorious.
