Panchi Bora's unique fish spa pedicure
0 06:00 am ISTlReena Thapar Kapoor/INDIATIMES MOVIES

She is a hit with the youth. Kayamath actor Panchi Bora has been working on the show 24/7. Unlike other actors she has never succumbed to the temptation of making big money by doing reality shows and two bit roles in films. ?I?d decided that I?ll do what my heart says. All this while I was not willing to take up anything apart from Kayamath,? says Panchi. It?s only now that the lady has given a nod to doing an ad film.

The buzz is that Panchi alias Prachi was in Malaysia to shoot a commercial for Fair And Lovely. ?I had allotted the dates to them much in advance and hence it was all smooth sailing,? she smiles. She insists that the regular schedule of a daily soap didn?t get disturbed due to her absence. She says that a TV actor?s life has to be ?pre-planned.?

The girl cannot get over the divine experience that she had in Malaysia. Amongst the most memorable was a fish spa. Panchi seems damn excited about it. ?They make you soak your feet in a tub where tiny fishes come and tickle your toes. The fish feed on the dead cells and so your feet are all pink. I think the fish had a sumptuous feast that day. It?s the most heavenly pedicure I?ve ever had,? exclaims Panchi.

The girl adds that shooting for an ad film is different but she?d never want to be a full fledged Bollywood heroine. ?I just feel that I?m not heroine material. Also I?m scared about the casting couch syndrome that I believe still exists in the film industry.? Despite her fears, Panchi has agreed to do a cameo in
Sanjay Kapoor?s Harman Baweja starrer film. ?
I?m game working with people I?m comfortable with. Sanjay is very professional and hence I decided to work with him. But other than that it?s a big NO,? she claims

The spa treatment that "eats" off dead skin cells

The%20fish%20reflexology%20treatmentA new spa treatment has appeared in the spa world: fish reflexology. This spa technique provides the feet with the perfect massage. It helps the skin get rid of that layer of dead cells and it provides the visitor with a soothing pampering treatment. Those who want to try this spa treatment have to dip their feet into a small pond with tiny fish. They will eat the dead skin cells, providing the visitor with an interesting sensation. Those who have tried it said that it feels like tiny suction cups that extract the unnecessary layer of dead skin.

Not only will the fish allow you to have smoother feet but they will also provide you with the perfect pedicure. After the nibbling massage, specialized reflexologists rub the visitors' feet. The fish used here are a tiny toothless Turkish spa fish, of the Garra rufa species, that nibble off dead skin.

The visitors can opt for Package A, which includes spa fish pool dip and a foot reflexology. This first option lasts up to 40 minutes and it costs around $35. The second package is more professional and it contains the spa fish pool dip, the foot reflexology and the head&shoulder massage. It lasts longer, up to 50 minutes, and it costs more, around $50.

The fish reflexology treatment is one of the most unusual spa treatments that have been invented up to this moment. The technique brings nature into the spa salon. It's a natural way of pampering the feet and boosting the state of wellbeing. It was first performed on the Sentosa Island on the Southern Coast of Singapore, where the visitors were able to enjoy this relaxing and fun spa treatment. This procedure has become quite popular and 'till now more than 2,000 women tried it.
